Recently purchased a home use only Nightmare On Elm Street that reportedly once belonged to a New Line Cinema executive. I tend to lend credence to this since the machine is in absolutely pristine condition. The glove flipper was also fully intact and all original. Unfortunately, within one week of play, one of the blades broke off. After another week, a second blade broke off. Apparently, this is a VERY common issue, now and back when the game was even new. I searched all around and found a few sources for an entirely new glove assembly, but none were in stock or were going to be back in stock any time soon. So I took matters into my own hands used a pencil grinder on what was left of the original blades and installed some .090 sheet metal replacements. The grinder got away from me a couple times, so it's a bit sloppy looking, but after the epoxy set up, they are solid as a rock! They look great and should provide worry-free gameplay for a long time. Just wanted to share this repair in case anyone else is in need of it. You just need a pencil grinder, some .090 sheet metal, and some 2-part epoxy. Hope this helps someone. Thanks - Mike
