When I turn on my night moves pinball, the outhouse solenoid and the moves light is bright (but I think it's just 4 bulbs under the insert.) I pulled the driver board and tested every single transistor on the board, the 3 big solenoid transistors, the 3 smaller solenoid transistors, and all the other lamp transistors, (can you tell I don't have a schematic).

Any idea how these two things can lock on, and the game not have a blown transistor on the driver board?

Q24 is the transistor for the moves light npn darlington mps u-45. What solenoid is locking on? I dont have a night moves, but i have a schematic. Downloadable on ipdb. Is the moves light supposed to be on? Is it brighter than normal?

Actually, hold please, still looking. Schematics are a bit hard to read.

Thanks for the reply. The solenoid that locks on is the one under the apron that kicks the ball over from where left side of the trough. I believe it's called the outhole?

Ok thanks, ill do some more checking this evening and see if we can figure it out

Alright, for the outhole solenoid it is q59 on the driver board. Its a 2n6043. It also has a diode at cr5 wich is a 1n4148. I would test those and make sure they are good. I would have to think the 2 issues are seperate and would tackle them individually. Id like to help more, but the schematic is very hard to read, and not having a paper copy makes it harder. Let me know if that fixes the coil or how it tests

Transistor and diode tests good. I'm going to call PBR and buy a schematic tomorrow.

Thanks for your help.
