If you had a choice ? A real nice TZ or a Gorgeous restored wh20

#2 5 years ago

Twilight Zone has a ton going on and there are a billion of them out there.

Whitewater is the best non-licensed pin of all time.

#3 5 years ago

I would like both but I would take the whitewater first.

Just my opinion of course.

TZ is the only game I miss from my collection over the past 17 years. WW came and went and it was fun but honestly didn't keep my interest like TZ did. Both are fun games though, no wrong choice here.

Tough call. TZ deeper. WH2O cooler. WH2O sucks to maintain. Edge to TZ.

#6 5 years ago

Can't go wrong either way; how nice is the WH2O?? If it's completely mint; then I guess you lean in that direction...Depends on the relative prices for both though.

I Have a really nice TZ restored. And HEP is just finishing my WH20.
WH20 won’t ever be leaving.

I'd take WH2O. You can always find another nice TZ. Buy the restored WH20. On second thought, you buy the TZ and I'll take the WH2O off your hands. Easy

I prefer twilight zone.

Whitewater all the way.

I just completed a full high end restoration on a WH20 and will be selling it right away. TZ will never leave my collection.

Me too Brett, you saw my restored WH20, its a beautiful thing in that condition. Congrats on the HEP!

I’ve owned both and Wh20 is still here never get tired of it. I think it’s the best game ever and nice ones are hard to find these days and usually sell in 2 seconds

So I love TZ, I love it enough to HEP one. With that said WH20 is one of the funnest games I ever owned and I miss it. I miss TZ too but not in a wh20 sort of way. WH20 has the best use of a upper playfield ive seen. The shots and rules are fun, the jackpot shot is one of the best.

I honestly hope they remake it so I can buy a new one, but I keep wanting to play one now. Wish I never sold that pin I had such a gorgeous one that played great.

I prefer to play TZ. Especially now it has a color dmd and pinsound. But a restored WH2O would get my money. I would pick up a nice TZ later.

#17 5 years ago

I have restored versions of both and they're keepers. Very different games obviously.

WH20 has great flow, satisfying shots, and a fun ruleset. TZ is an all time classic with great toys, tons of shots, great theme, etc...

I'd probably get the WH20 because it sounds like it's in better condition.

WH20 is my favorite machine that I have ever owned.

Thanks Doug. Yours is beautiful, one of the reasons I decided to have HEP do one for me.

Tough one. I prefer TZ overall but there are a lot out there. Tough to find a really nice WH2O. WH2O is such a good game when in good shape. Same for TZ. If money is equal, have to say TZ just because better game. However, if you can get a good deal on WH2O jump on it. Prices on it going up.
