Very cool! Thanks for sharing

#5 5 years ago

That was cool! As a big JP fan this would have been like seeing the dinosaurs roaming the earth scene in the first movie. Just not something you see, ever.

#6 5 years ago

Pinside price says top value of $2900... I’ll give you at least that!!

The legs were in the top of the box.

#19 5 years ago

I can't believe I just spent 40 minutes watching that video... but I did! Thanks for actually opening this thing up and filming it, most people in possession of this I bet would have left it in the box or not filmed it and shared that was pretty great.

My guess would be around $2500

#22 5 years ago

Adjusted for inflation....

2500$ in 1993 = 4346$ in 2019

#24 5 years ago

Great video, thanks for sharing! Very cool seeing how a new Data East game game from the factory and was packaged. Game looks perfect.

I watched it all. Very intriguing to see. Not gonna lie, I cringed about 5 times during the video when you manhandled the play field in and out. Banging the metal together oy!

What a find. Congrats

Lol me too, I kept waiting for the whole pin to tip backwards and fall when the backbox was lifted, with how far forward that pindolly was.
I’ll be making a trip to hamilton to check out your place OP!

Well that would have sucked but could’ve made for good TV

I always lift from the back. I've got short arms and it's a PITA but I've never been able to just force it to go.

#30 5 years ago

wow... that was cool
Thanks!

#32 5 years ago

That was really cool to watch. What a find, and no issues!!!

#33 5 years ago

So cool!!! Thanks for the video. The one i have is a low play machine and like new but not a zero play. Enjoy the game!!!

So many little details that I've never seen like the wrench for the gun and the cardboard shield above the coinbox. Would like to ask was there any mylar installed on the playfield or included in the manual bag?

#35 5 years ago

Out of curiosity, what size was that poster?

#36 5 years ago

That’s bad ass! Original everything and topper included for the low price of $2500. Talk about a trip through time. I bought one used back in 2012 and I thought mine was in good shape. This is pristine.

More like $3500 I think?

#41 5 years ago

Thanks for sharing your experience, awesome video! I wonder if it came from a distributor that was not able to sell it and complained that Data East’s(Stern) price was too high($2,500) originally? LOL

The other/first thread has the backstory.

Actually, George Gomez said that $3,300 was the price for Williams SWE1 Pinball 2000, which was the highest price they had ever charged. Data East we’re always lower priced than Bally/Williams in the 90’s also...
