I view it somewhat the opposite way, it’s great in my eyes a game more than two decades old can go head to head with BM66. MM can’t do that because it’s scoring is so unbalanced (shoot the castle again and again and again), but AFM has such a great rule set (shallow compared to BM66, but very balanced) that it can stay in the conversation with more modern and deeper games.
