The Ni-Wumpf drive board for Gottlieb System 80 games. the H2 screw in contact is a ground that should be grounded prior to powering on for the first time, right?

Also, safe to run if the Speech Sound board is not hooked up?

H2 Ground should be hooked up. It's a safety measure in case the ground between the mpu and driver is bad. Yes you can run it without the sound board
