Yo,

Just replaced a gofer from NGG by taking the whole gofer mount out of the mech and there is a wire that’s attached to the plunger. The wire is meant to go up into the gofer mount but I can’t seem to get it to go in and set the gofer correctly without the wire bending like crazy.
What am I doing wrong?

If I remember right…

Before you put on the gofer, rotate the wire forward down along the front of the plunger - tip of wire will be pointing down. It’s a spring so it will create resistance. Then put the gofer down over it.

The wire is a spring that causes the gofer to tilt forward so it catches and latches on when it pops up and will stay up (until it’s time to pop down again).

Genius. Spring facing down. Thank you for your help! She’s back up and running
