Probably Gary.....

Quoted from nicoy3k:

I think maiden is done after this run (if this run even happens).

Good,,,,maybe Maiden will disappear forever then

They have Beatles still listed, but did that ever go back into production after the first 1000 got made? They still owe the world 964 of those babies...

Quoted from Elvishasleft:

No shit... that game may be the biggest swing and miss in pinball last 10 years.
Great theme, great looking, gameplay maybe a 2 out of 10.

Remember when GB came out and everybody here thought it was the greatest game ever made? That seems to happen a lot around here...

#53 2 years ago

Beatles dealers still have stock from unsold units.

Aerosmith is in the archive list.

Yeah I seen it under archive but I was told they stopped making Munsters and Black knights long ago and those haven't been relegated to the old junk heap archive list yet just Aerosmith..

I thought it was great then and still do, but I also still listen to Records and play NES. Fortunately for me things tend to come back around and what do ya know I'm cool again..haha stay true!

Wait... instead of a dark gray $14,995.00 it's marked down too a turquoise $14,995.00???? This different colored pricing has me intrigued....

I'm holding out for turquoise colored Free Shipping to tie it all together.

I would also settle for red Free Shipping...I can always mod it to a turquoise later.

No.

Everyone thought it was the greatest LOOKING game ever made.

Then we played it, and promptly doused them with gasoline and lit a match.

Would absolutely love to unbox a GB. Still don’t understand the hate for the game, other than it being super hard.

It’s not super hard. It’s poorly designed in ways that it’s hard to believe a professional designer had any hand in it. We’ll, we all know where that designer’s hands were. Not sure what the people who say “I don’t understand” don’t understand.

GB sucks and I really want a BKSOR somebody give me a good deal on one pls

I was told by my distributor that Batman 66 and the Munsters are both done after the final production run in August. I was able to get a BM66 from my distributor because someone cancelled, I have been unable to obtain a Munsters Premium.

Quoted from Rarehero:

No.

That's alot of ppl buying it and playing it blind considering it might be the highest selling and also the highest earning pin on location of the modern era so I think your theory may be flawed

Theme & art goes a long way. South Park earns great too. Irrelevant factors to constructive critique of actual gameplay.

They ran that game for about 4 years straight and sold a ton. I have a feeling they won't be re-upping that license again.

I also think they are done with DMD games.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Yeah, my hunch is Covid killed SAM for good. If they can't even get parts to make Spike games, it might be a supply chain impossibility to get a bunch of old SAM parts. Or just not worth the hassle/wait.

Gary said last week (Stern Insider Q/A) that there will be no more vault games in the foreseeable future. They are at max capacity just keeping up with their current titles.

You just succinctly described the problem with Pinside whenever a new game is released that's packed with toys and has a shit-ton of blinky lights.

So every shot airballing over the flippers to drain is good design? Inlane to outlane hops is good design? Orbits rattling so they exit STDM is good design? Magnetic slings that just drop the ball down the middle is good design? Saucers that spit the ball down the drain is a good design?

For real, this game caused pinball to be SO WEIRD. You’re going to bat for the worst game ever made & cheering on the conmen of Deer Poot as well. How did this bizarro dimension of pinball come to be?! Is the grass blue & the sky green where you are?

Bah, I've played plenty of GBs that didn't do any of that. Maybe they were all ready owner adjusted, but I've never had any problems with GB when I've played it. Really like it actually. GB is lots of fun to play for me.

The plastic topper with lights. Best topper profit ever for stern.

I think aero was before BM66. Yes, it’s done. So is Guardians I believe.

Guardians has a run for August and another in 2022.

Would love to find an Aerosmith and Munsters pro

Every time I see a ghostbusters on location I want to buy it, then I play it and all thoughts of buying it flee. The theme is awesome but just poorly designed in my opinion.

No game in demand is going to get retired anytime soon, I don’t care how long its been in production, i.e. Deadpool or Maiden. On the other hand say goodbye to Beatles, Munsters, Guardians, BKSOR, TMNT, Avengers, LED Zeppelin.......No one wants these titles!

Quoted from Damonator:

Some dealers have told me BM66 is done, yet I hear others saying another run is coming.
Does anyone have a definitive schedule for the remainder of this year?
I’ve heard JP Prem, IMDN Pro/Prem, LZ Prem, Mando Pro/Prem and Deadpool Pro/Prem are slated for this year, but not sure of the order.

Just for clarification - there is one final BM66 run happening this month. JP Prems are also running this month, I haven’t heard of what comes after these 2.

If Black Knight is retired then how come it's not listed under archived games on Stern's site?

Not sure if the "last chance" is done or if that final run is still in their schedule. But they posted this on facebook in September 2020: https://fb.watch/7978WaNy7e/

Quoted from rai:

Someone (dealer) told me Stranger Things premium was done.
I’m hot and cold on that one, I love the projector and UV lights. I was going to get one when my dealer had one left but I wasn’t sure, it was not until they were gone that I thought I should have got it. Got JP premium instead which I like more. Next I’ll maybe get BM66 if I can find one.
Yea new pins are often cheaper than the used prices people want. Saw BM66 *premium asking $11K or so. I know it had mods but come on.

It's not trivial to get a lot of these new pins right now. The wait time and lack of communication on the production schedule from Stern makes it painful. Hence, people are willing to pay more for used because they know they'll get it.

#93 2 years ago

The new post on here made me go look at the archive list again, noticed Munsters has been added since last time I looked.

Yep, looks like Munsters is now out of production, most likely with Godzilla now hitting the line. I thought Munsters was still more popular than Black Knight, which still seems to be running.

#96 2 years ago

I'm guessing that BM66, EHOH and GOTG will be retired after their next planned runs.

#97 2 years ago

Update, asked my distributor about my BM66 order was told December.

#98 2 years ago

On Sterns Website they show:

Rush
Godzilla
Mandalorian
Led Zeppelin
Avengers IQ
TMNT
Stranger Things
EHOH
Jurassic Park
Beatles
Deadpool
Iron Maiden
GOTG
Star Wars

I don't think some of these are being produced anymore. Does anyone know which ones are no longer going to be produced and which one is next on the chopping block?

I'd like to get a Deadpool but it's going to take time to save the money...kinda went crazy in 2021 buying 4 machines.

The next games to be officially retired are most likely:

Stranger Things
EHOH
Beatles
Iron Maiden
GOTG

I think Star Wars will be ran for at least as long as Mando is ran...or at the very least as long as the SW Home pins are made. I wish we could see production numbers. I bet Star Wars is way up there. It's been ran for 5 years now.
