    Quoted from Whysnow:

Appears Elvira 3 is the October/Expo release and presumed to be BM66 type model/ premium pricing.

Then I will be out. However, I think your presumption is incorrect.

    Quoted from JY64:

More likely inline with BK pricing

    Then I will be in.

    Quoted from MikeS:

A buddy of mine talked to Nordman a while back and he mentioned that the game is loaded with stuff and that he didn't design a Pro model. I'd anticipate that it will be at least $7500 street price if I had to guess.

If truly loaded with stuff then I will still be in.

    Elvira: I'd expect BM66 pricing.

Your view on this makes me want to down vote your post.
I did not do so because I respect your knowledge and experience and expertise.
But I still hope you are way off base on this opinion.

    Quoted from Wickerman2:

    Just not Elvira.

    Quoted from Honch:

    Another timeless theme imho.

Scared Stiff is still a sought-after pricey A-lister for a reason.

There are Pinsiders asking/hoping for CGC to remake Scared Stiff.

An Elvira 3 with terrific Greg Freres artwork (again), double-entendre callouts from Cassandra Petersen (again), a Nordman layout with simple yet interesting mechs (anticipated based on the previous Elvira pins), and great use of Elvira Movie Macabre clips on the LCD screen will really appeal to that fan base.

Not sure why they wouldn't go after this license aggressively.

They probably have considered it. Stranger things have happened.

There is a rumor that the Pabst can crusher pin will be re-themed into a Subway restaurant pin.

Ironically, there will be no subway in the game.

I figure they set the list price at $4500 so they could sell at a street price of $4K.

Like others have noted, displaying it at COMICON is aimed at a new (not Pinside) market.

    Quoted from jawjaw:

No need to get upset. There is already a Star Wars pin for true pinheads.

Exactly. It would have been much worse if the home pin would have been some new title, like Stranger Things, and took the place of an actual full-featured game that Pinsiders would want but would never get made.

    Quoted from RetroGamerJP:

My distributor is promoting them at $3,999.99

Okay, so I was a penny off.

    Quoted from sethi_i:

They need to generate real excitement, not just use the word in a press release. And if anyone says there isn't any excitement surrounding this game, I say 1240 posts in a relatively short time (in just one forum thread) would indicate otherwise.

The Frankenstein monster generated excitement - in the form of angry villagers waving torches and pitchforks. This thread is the Pinside equivalent in reaction to the SW home edition pin - which isn't even intended for the average Pinsider.
