ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL – April 1st, 2016 – Stern Pinball, Inc., the world's oldest and largest producer of arcade-quality pinball machines, proudly announced today the availability of Hello Kitty pinball machines celebrating the brands 40th anniversary. Inspired by the hit 1987 Animated Series “Hello Kitty’s Furry Tale Theater” the new machine takes players on an enchanted journey through the wonderful world of the internationally beloved pop icon Hello Kitty.
Stern’s Hello Kitty Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition machines are packed with features and toys that provide an irresistible challenge to play in the land of make believe. Each player can choose from one of 13 classic “Furry Tale Theater” adventures as seen in the hit 1987 animated series. Original English Voice Actor Tara Strong reprises her role as Hello Kitty to guide the player throughout the game with authenticity and strong presence. The goal of the game is to collect rainbows, hearts and lollipops on the way to setting the high score!

Famed pinball designer John Trudeau, independent artist Jeremy “Zombie Yeti” Packer and senior game programmer Dwight Sullivan are creating the new machine as a part of the Stern Pinball production team. “I am actually a huge, huge Hello Kitty Fan!” said John Trudeau. “No really, I am being serious. Massive. Absolutely massive fan. Posters and everything. Finally we can have the pinball machine our dreams!” John went on to say.
As an added bonus all machines will ship with a new copy of the 2008 CD “Hello Kitty - Hello World” featuring Hello Kitty-inspired songs performed by a collection of artists, including Keke Palmer, Cori Yarckin, and Ainjel Emme.
