Quoted from TxJay:

I have thought about this as well...I have read where other owners have done this and it makes since...the only thing I find funny is that this is Stern's first pinball machine with electronic sounds, as horrible as they do sound, I have reservations in converting it to chimes..not 100% either way yet.

No need to convert. Read the manual, there are switches to flip to switch to chime sound if you're into that. I personally like the electro sounds.

That looks to be in great overall shape (with the exception of the BG... which mine also needs a better one).

Flip switch 23 to OFF if you prefer Chimes.

Quoted from TxJay:

Yeah, not too bad of shape. I have a new BG on order from BGRESTO.

Oh ya?
I checked their site and saw nothing listed for Lectronamo and assumed they didn't have one.
Mind if I ask the cost?

Quoted from TxJay:

Yeah, it's not listed but when I emailed him asking about it he replied saying he already has the scan of that back glass.
I'm actually going to send mine to him so that I can keep the mirror portion of the glass. Here is his reply in the email
"A complete restoration for your Stern Lectronomo original artwork (non mirrored with Grey Substitution), on new tempered glass is $275 + $55 Fedex Ground shipping cost to your address in the Continental US ($45 shipping to the Midwest and New England, $65 Shipping to the West Coast).
If you would like a mirrored version, then I will need your original glass. I will strip the ink from it and bond restored artwork to it preserving the original mirroring highlights. Please note any imperfections in you mirrored original blank will still be present on the restoration and backed with grey. This service is available for an additional $50 service fee plus the cost of shipping your glass to me. Instructions for packing your original securely for shipment are available on the website. "
Hope that helps.

good to know.

Mine isn't perfect... but not worth the expense at this time. Have another machine that I want to upgrade first.

Thanks!

Quoted from TxJay:

Completely understandable. I think the only reason I'm getting mine done is because I have so little into it right now.

True... even after getting that you're under what I have into mine with the purchase, LED conversion, NVRAM upgrade and time tweaking!
