Quoted from pinstor12:

Skip the remakes, buy new games. Support the new game makers. Help them bring new and innovative product to the market.
Why go back? Just get an original if need be.

While I can agree with your comment, I also want choice in the market.

Quoted from ultimategameroom:

I can see there being demand for MB and CCC for $8000 but I think AFM and other titles aren't going to sell well at that price point. if they do sell , I think production numbers will be much lower than MM.

This is my personal interest to watch. MM was the perfect storm to launch with. After that the remaining titles fall into a pack and are spread thin by individual preferences. But what if they competitively priced those second tier titles below the $8000 mark? That could be a new ball game.

Quoted from PPS:

given that there is currently no activity on totan in any shape or form, it's not really even a discussion right now. If someone wants to change that they know how to get ahold of me ...

I'm spamming your email now.

I expect it to be revealed -AT- the Chicago Expo and I expect it will be AFM.

And they only made one Eric Priepke.

Its my understanding they will keep making the games until the demand has run out.

Quoted from Pinballlew:

Did Chicago Gaming reveal AFM remake?

They didn't. In speaking with Doug Skore of Chicago Gaming, they decided to do the announcements at another show in the next 2 to 4 weeks. Sorry but I don't remember the name of the show.

Smart move I think. Let all the other manufacturers blow their wad at Expo, wait for the noise die down a bit and then announce.

Quoted from snakesnsparklers:

None of those quotes even hint at using CCC software. It won't happen. Software will be standard CC with maybe some slight updates or changes.

Totally and completely agree with this statement.

Quoted from whthrs166:

As far as values, time will tell on how successful the remake program will be (how many games they will actually sell) and how well the product will hold up long term. (original W/B have the test of time) If the product becomes less than desirable in such a way that the originals are wanted instead, then the values of the original W/B games will persevere. Some folks are already betting on that and buying up the originals that are being sold off.

This is an interesting thought with merit and one that I hadn't considered. I like to learn and have an open mind to things and I will be following this.

Quoted from whthrs166:

I think these guys have a plan to produce multiple models from this year on...

I completely agree and its fits with Planetary's recent announcement of games coming soon. Chicago Gaming ultimately wants that factory humming 24/7 and having multiple titles would accomplish this.

Edit: But Rubberducks makes some valid points.

Having owned Cactus Canyon with the CCC for several years, they should hand Eric Priepke a blank check and fluff his pillow each night.
