Looking at purchasing my next NIB Stern:
1) Kiss Premium (Early Code)
2) Walking Dead Premium (Nearly there)
3) Spiderman VE (Mature Code)
Since you already have most of the good newer new Stern's (ST, MET, ACDC) I think you should go for Kiss. The more I play it the more I feel that TWD isn't the sort of game I would want to spend NIB money on.
Since you already have Star Trek I don't think that SM will feel all the much more different since people say that they are twin's.
Quoted from c2scanada:3) spiderman VE (Mature Code)
If SM VE comes we don't know what the code will be like. We assume they will maintain the same rules but if it does have new dots and new voice acting the rules may be tweaked as well. The code would likely be based on the same rules (I would hope) if not basically identical but who can say at this time since it has not been announced and we have not been told anything official.
Would I assume that VE runs of later models would only happen if there is left over stock of old SAM Boards? Would Stern actually recode a VE for the spike platform?
Mine is a KISS LE. Can't wait to take delivery - I am a huge fan of KISS and hopefully the game will live up to the standards of AC/DC and Metallica..
To provide feedback on the 3 games the OP is interested in...
TWD Premium is awesome if you like the zombie theme and don't mind tough short games.
The whole package works great and the rules are very good and getting better. Horde is an awesome wizard mode.
Spiderman VE would be awesome as well - if it comes into existence. SM has long games vs short games.
Kiss looks like a fun layout, but no idea of the rules and still need to play it.
I had rotator cuff surgery 4 weeks ago. 6 month rehab. KISS LE is a gift to myself for getting through surgery and rehab.
I'll be 100% in December...that's when I get to open my gift.
Quoted from NickBuffaloPinball:Why isn't there an option for LOTR VE? I'd be all over that.
Because there aren't any more VE games coming & LOTR was already redone a few years ago. Iron Man was called Vault Edition because Iron Man/Iron Vault makes sense.
Quoted from epthegeek:If you want a Star Trek or a Walking Dead, seems like you could get a better deal on a nice HUO one since they haven't really caught on all that well with a lot of people.
Well, that'll be your little secret.
