Just changing out the message text to something more metal-like makes it 100% better. I understand about leaving the tiny text Arial-ish for legibility, but the large messages and possibly the score numbers should be more metal, for sure.
And why not theme the game even more? Why "Player 1", "Player 2", "Player 3", "Player 4" etc? Why not "Headbanger 1" "Poser 2", "Rocker 3", "Mosher 4"? Have a bunch of synonyms that are theme-appropriate and let the game pick one at random to apply to the player tag. Never been done to my knowledge, and this would be the perfect place for it.
Here's a quick example I did with just the message text and main score made more metal (but I think all the scores should be the metal font, too):

She handles a ton of the call outs, Glad the beast (Sexton ? ) is doing call outs as well.
As someone else has mentioned no band member call outs ? Bruce would have been cool to call a few taunts as James did in MET.
I think with code progression they can still make it work.
I am a big fan of fun/funny and taunting call outs !

The Iron Maiden Premium and LE have new, unique, and innovative mechanisms.
Included is a motor controlled tomb entrance feeding a motorized
combination ball lock/Newton ball, which allows the player to physically
knock a Newton ball onto the playfield to be an active multiball. A second
new and unique device is a very cool omnidirectional ball target used in
place of the Pro’s normal standup target. The Premium and LE are further
enhanced by the jump ramp that opens to reveal a scoop, interactive chase
light beacon led device, backlit stacked back panel plastic, plus the
inclusion of custom Eddie sculpts.
And the LE has the added features customers wanted in an LE:
• Anti-reflective playfield glass
• Mirrored backglass
• Upgraded sound system
• Shaker motor
• Red metallic side armor, hinges, legs and lockdown
• Foil cabinet decals
• Inside cabinet art blades
• LE only shooter knob

I haven't seen a pic of mini flip mech.
Possibly cabinet acoustics. People are saying new Spike is lighter. Has Stern gone to a different ply for cabinet ?

I have a feeling Stern will get it right. Maybe this is why reveal is delayed ? Chop and change ?
If they do get it right there will be greater Premium sales.
Overall this title is such a huge win for Stern as it will keep the factory floor busy for many months allowing the SR and GG teams to perfect their new titles. Cashing up the coffers and keeping staff happy, Win Win !
Hoping Keith and his team will stay true to IMDN and get it over the line 100%

Intelligent dome has 35 RGB's !
2 Proximity sensors Clair and Top ball
Interesting the target uses leaf switches
Will be my first Spike and after looking at the manual , The theory looks sound.
+ the fact that Stern does a great job of supporting their product
I'm a little less concerned now.
I really dig the electronics that goes on in these bad boys

The side art has grown on me now and I know this will be a Stand out LE from Stern for quite a while.
That cab speaker looks decent, nice chunky magnet, should deliver decent bottom end !
Stern appears to have really upped the game and this will hopefully allow George, Steve, John and other teams to soar to new heights !

Clean with novus or similar to assist ball glide ?
Otherwise I'm confident there will be a fix around the corner

I would prefer to spend the time and money replacing post sleeves to red or blue
But now find out post sleeves are tapered

Changing out flipper buttons first up, anyone done this on LE yet ?
I will be fitting Red or Blue superbands to all flippers and would also really like to change post sleeve color when my LE arrives.
Still thinking Red or Blue. I can see a stack of post sleeves in IMDN maybe 12 ?
Also the post sleeves are apparently now tapered to minimize airballs ?
I cant find post sleeves listed in manual ? Anyone got spec on these ? Confirm how many and if they are all tapered ?
Anyone know if Cliffy, Superbands or Titan considering manufacturing these tapered post sleeves ?

It may not necessarily be hardware at fault for the distortion
There is the possibility that audio may be improved with code.
Code team and audio hardware teams may need to investigate and correct the problem through ststem audio level checks to avoid clipping.
I do recognize the fact that it appears to only be with the JBL's
I am hoping this issue can be rectified with code.

Other rails must be generated on the Main CPU pcb Node 0
So if all connectors are okay one would have to assume Node 0 Main controller board fail.
Perhaps worth disconnecting the 2 RJ45 connectors to isolate node boards

So I have ordered a couple of hex posts and spots same as Met for the playfield center.
