Quoted from ScottinSGFNY:I’ve learned tournament playing looks boring rather than just having fun playing.
These titles are not the most interesting to watch...at least not the newer releases.

I hate metal art, it's all so juvenile, but the game will probably look great. Stern has done quite well recently.
Quoted from Sinestro:That would make it amazing, since GOTG is great.
Nah, tho. It's a really compromised Metallica.
I have played Elwin's Archer machine and it's legit awesome. I'm REALLY hoping that the Iron Maiden layout is either the same or very close to it. It's different, and it really lends itself well to a creative rule set.
ELWIN IS TO BE UNLEASHED AND YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT.
Trying to figure out when I'll get my first chance to flip on this one. Probably June in Denver. Hopefully I can find a way sooner.
Quoted from Gryszzz:$8795 delivered. Also comes with book "First Time Anal Fisting and Making it Fun".
Anything under $10,000 is pretty standard these days, unfortunately. We let and made this happen (I bought a Dialed IN LE and a Ghostbusters LE), and I don't think we're ever going back. So either free up the funds or find it on location.
Quoted from TheLaw:Again....Got, GB, AS all had spinners correct?
The stripped down narrative got a little out of control. Star Wars was "stripped down" by design, not out of cheapness, I feel. That was meant to be a breakneck speed game without distractions. Everything else was pretty well populated before and after it. Heck, many of the premium features have been totally superfluous or to the game's detriment.
Quoted from melappels:He just said graphics are temporary !
I think he was referring to that one mode, but maybe it was overall.
There's intentionally not a lot happening on the screen, per Keith Elwin. This is way more of a heads down game...thank goodness.
Everything looks and sounds great, music aside (I can't stand Iron Maiden), and that layout is freaking awesome. Should be a winner.
The music is just aggressively terrible. It's like Rush got drunk and decided to cover some metal. I don't know how people listen to this stuff on purpose.
But hey, the game looks like a clear cut winner in all other aspects. Can't wait to flip around on it.
Quoted from JY64:Price drop shows they are not selling you can still get a CE they made only 150 and were announced a yr and a half ago
They have sold a lot of Dialed Ins. Speaking to people who know actual manufactured numbers, the game has been a huge success. Pirates preorders have very much outpaced Dialed In, however. CEs aren't being continually produced.
I'm only hearing good stuff and it's killing me that I haven't had a chance to play this yet. I did get to play Archer, but it's obviously quite a different deal in its final form.
Kudos to Keith for creating a compelling design, kudos to Stern for assembling a team to have this thing polished at release, and thanks to everybody chiming in with very detailed impressions on the game.
I love that an original design can still be found these days. Between JJP's Pirates, Iron Maiden, and Houdini, we've got a lot of stuff on the manufacturing line that looks VERY distinct from other games around it.
Quoted from Vesper:Like that ever works. Seriously, it's is very unreliable at least on my machine. Everything else I agree with you on - love my Dialed In!
It works every time on mine, but I just don't find a reason to use it. I wish they had investigated more deeply what they could do with a connected cell phone.
Harsh crowd! I think it looks pretty good, but these are pretty small images. I do understand those who would like a darker theme, but I'd be happy with this if I had an order in.
Quoted from NimblePin:Nah, just an avid Maiden fan that despises Christmas in general.
Maybe the fact that I like it should have tipped me off. I don't like Iron Maiden and really don't like the heavy metal aesthetic in general. I guess that probably means it's somewhat off brand.
Quoted from NimblePin:Sounds like you need a Supreme then Jar!
The Supremes got a pinball machine?! Pre or post Diana Ross departure?
