Sure it was a money grab. But the custom trim, foil bat mobile side art, killer topper, and other little extras were pretty awesome looking. Worth the extra money, absolutely not, but there was a lot added that had never been done before.
I've been on the fence for an LE (trying to put it off, waiting the reveal) but if this takes any longer I think that I'm just out

Even better! Then hundreds if not thousands of people will get to play an LE! Definitely do it now.
There are two reasons why this will be my first LE.
1. The Game rocks big time
2. This is without a doubt the LE with the most extra features to date. (especially the last few Le's have been low on extra features. but this one has at
least all the extras that the super duper Batman SE had.)
3. Did I mention that the game is gonna rock?
A fantastic Side-art and back-glass display would be excellent, but if only ok, it is still not a deal breaker for me. With that said, come on and show us the LE graphics already, Stern!

And how it was offered to customers was insulting. - Submit a video of why you should get one or write a letter begging to be put on the waiting list. Increasing the original number of games promised to be limited. Pay a deposit, non-refundable, before even seeing a single picture of the game... The arrogance of Stern did some serious damage with me at that time. They may earn me back but I don't forgive easily.

Glad they aren't doing this with the LE, I wouldn't have bought one then.

When we sold the SLE we had, I know of 3 others that changed hands that same weekend. $60k worth of machines in one weekend. They're definitely moving around and holding their value.

Counting on this Premium/LE reveal actually happening any given day has been too subject to speculation, innuendo, and info from those supposedly "in the know".
