Quoted from PW79:

Kpg you bring up a good point about the lighting.
I'm watching YT videos & the LE is hard to see.
Of course video vs real life will differ but your point does carry to the videos I've watched.
Have you played a Pro?

I haven't played a Pro yet, but from the pics I have seen the playfield does seem more illuminated then the LE. You honestly can't really see the awesome artwork in a dark game room with the current lighting but I am sure i'll come up with a fix. Reminds me of WOZ's dark playfield until you put the spotlights on it.

Pics of the playfield - notice the dark middle spot, and also the closeup of the armor... looks great in person!!

Wheeeww!

I bet everyone is glad they bought the LE and did not wait for the Indiana "Iron" Jones premium.

#6106 1 year ago

I was hoping the backglass would be closer to the Powerslave cover (with a pyramid, etc) but I *really* like the side art compared to the airplane.

Wow. I love my LE vs the Premium.

If they put black T molding on the head that would be better than that yellow crap! That's an eyesore IMO.

So glad I dumped the le! Premium is AWESOME. UP THE IRONS! Shaker motor and neca Piece of mind Eddie on the way.

All models look great! how can you go wrong with any of these games with the incredible Yeti art! Everyone wins

#6112 1 year ago

premium with some yellow powder coating on the legs/armor, etc would look killer!

times 1000. Not digging the Premium so much

Quoted from RA77:

Where can you get these please ?

I got mine from comet. Pretty sure it was the 12V AC/DC OPTIX MAXIMUS. It's been a while since I bought it. Stock is a 161 bulb.

Agree on the yellow, though I'll decide when I see it in person. I'd likely remove that and replace with black or blue. Easy enough to do.

OK.... jokes over.
WHere's the REAL one?

#6118 1 year ago

Well fuck, guess I'mma get a Maiden pin even tho I dislike their music.

Good pinball is good pinball & this here looks like good pinball.

I think gold powder or brass armor would set this Egypt package off like a mofo. Gotta say tho the black looks purdy balanced too tho.

Sweet art!

#6119 1 year ago

I hate the Prem is not powder coated something besides black. One of the bonuses of getting a Prem should be a different color.

#6120 1 year ago

I think it looks phenomenal. Was expecting a blue/Powerslave look... got a yellow/Egyptian/pharaoh look - and love it! Up the freaking Irons!! Can’t wait to get it!

#6121 1 year ago

Way too much "Egypt". Only 1 of their 16 studio albums was based on Egypt. I think the backboard and middle of the playfield is almost too much.
Also - The Trooper - Maiden's most iconic Eddie, isn't represented ANYWHERE on the premium.

Quoted from RA77:

Sounds like the Eddy sensor/s was a problem ? ......... and pulled from production ?
Is Top ball sense Eddy SW41 there ?
Interesting

I think 41 is the captive ball in front of the sarcophagus ? That seems to line right up with it, and it is the same mechanism as the clairvoyant (and same name).. As far as problems. I spent a good deal yesterday adjusting the mechanism under the clairvoyant. The parts of the mechanism and leaf switch appear to have only a small tolerance. They need to both align very tightly, and the leaf switch need to be just a hair open.. Otherwise (at least on mine) it was either not triggering, or the vibration from the flippers would trigger it..

#6123 1 year ago

Really diggin the Premium!!! No pun intended... LOL

#6124 1 year ago

That is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and 20 times cooler than I ever imagined the Premium would be.

#6125 1 year ago

Wow...that's right up there with my favorite cabinet artwork ever! Damn!

#6126 1 year ago
Quoted from frankmac:

Great photos. I am curious to know what the copper pipe under the machine is?
Looks like a shower head?

That is my emergency purge valve for the liquid helium that supercools my home MRI and electrical systems, you know, the usual.
Or some sort of decompression valve for my overly complicated radiant heat system, which has never done anything.
Or a fake pipe the plumber put in to look like he was doing something.
Or...not sure, I'll check.

I like the side and coin door area art, but the backglass looks like Eddie is a drum major in a marching band leading a bunch of cosplay weirdos. Doesn't look aggressive at all. Considering all they had to draw from, I'd call it a miss.

#6129 1 year ago

My eyes are instantly distracted by the yellow trim, and not in a good way, but will wait to see it in person.

Good thing it will be easy to swap out, though I 'm sure plenty of matching yellow legs and armor are going to be shown off here...ugh

#6130 1 year ago

I'm genuinely freaking out with joy. This is my first ever NIB - and I'm relatively new to the hobby - but that cabinet art with that playfield art is the single coolest looking pinball package I've ever seen.

It's a great game regardless of your art package, but I could not be happier. It's greater than I ever imagined.

I just talked to Gary about my concerns with the premium.

He said “Satisfaction guaranteed or double your mummy back”

That looks excellent! They are all awesome.

Trailer...

Quoted from kpg:

This is the captive ball for the sarcophagus lock.
It registers sometimes, sometimes not. The design is pretty terrible, in my opinion. The plastic is super thin - doesn't feel like a commercial part at all.
It literally rocks back and forth in this plastic "cup" like plastic piece. Not sure who designed it but they should rethink this thing.

There is a very small tolerance here. That metal post needs to align almost exact to center in that plastic cup, and also loosen the screw there a little so it both aligns to center, and is just touching the plastic when at rest, even then it appear to only move the leaf switch a tiny amount as well, so there needs to be only a hair spaced air gap there. Took me many tries to get the switch under the clairvoyant aligned right to trigger when hit from any direction, and also not phantom register when using the flippers, or any vibration really..

Thanks for that. That is all I will ever see when I see this at shows. LOL

im having the same issue with the clairvoyant ball. make sure the actuator hasnt come unscrewed onits own and adjust the switch via the screws so the actuartor sits dead center

I am thinking change yellow t-molding to black and put in a pro translite.

#6139 1 year ago

Don't like the yellow T-molding?

Buy black or gold.

The stuff is cheap & easy to swap.

Might look good in real life as is.

It's the first thought I had since he looks so into the parade and non-aggressive. Very un-Eddie-like.

And, you're welcome. We can suffer in silence together.

#6141 1 year ago

IROI DEN!

#6142 1 year ago

That thing looks fugly. I really was hoping for blue and gold and all Egyptian theme of the powerslave.

Looks like I may buy a pro. For a true maiden fan it does not do the band justice.

#6143 1 year ago

Makes me very happy about my LE purchase. The Premium is very nice as well and should sell a ton but personally I like the LE better. Not saying this as an owner either because mine is still NIB and I have someone who would gladly take it off my hands if I wanted to downgrade to a premium.

#6144 1 year ago

I'm more than happy with my pro over Iron Maiden: The Pinball Adventure.

#6145 1 year ago

I like it. if u don't like the yellow u can buy other colors yourself. to me its way better than the le

#6146 1 year ago

Congrats all premium "waiters"! Can't believe outcries about a $2.50 T-molding. It will provide great contrast in your line-up!

#6147 1 year ago

They all look good.

Favorite?

Tough choice.

Agree 100% I never really cared for the LE art (aside from the backglass). This and the pro look great. I was seriously going to downgrade to a pro if I didn't like the premium art. Though I will likely swap out the yellow trim and add some gold mirrored blades. Should look badass.

#6149 1 year ago

Still scratching my head as to how this happens.

It seems so simple...

Have there ever been three more different looking art packages? I feel like most others are slight variations. These look like 3 different tables! (but only one of them actually matches the playfield).
