Quoted from PanzerFreak:I hope that Stern rethemes Iron Maiden to a theme that has more appeal to friends and family. If it was just me I may consider buying the game but instead will enjoy playing it on location.
Similiar to what Guinnesstime said - our 9 year old son stumbled across an ad for the Legacy of the Beast app while browsing through a magazine at Barnes and Noble a month or two ago. He asked if he could play the app, I checked it out, sure. He starts playing the app, this turned into him buying the reissues of various Maiden 7"s that were on sale at the local record store with his allowance and lemonade stand $. I dug out a couple Maiden CDs and gave them to him. He now has a Trooper poster on the back of his bedroom door, listens to Maiden constantly, and is in love with the pinball machine. We entered the launch party tournament and placed 3rd and 6th, and I'm thrilled to have gotten to share entering a pinball tournament with our son for the first time.
I cringed when the ad for the Legacy of the Beast app showed up on the screens pre-show when seeing the Book Of Souls tour, but they're clearly doing something right.
Similarly, my wife, who listens to nothing that sounds remotely close to Maiden and used to goof on my friends and I for going to the shows, now listens to them while running and has gone to see them with us the last three times they've come through. She loves the idea of a Maiden pinball machine, and she generally couldn't care less about pinball.
All I'm saying is that - given some time - it's possible that they (and the machine) may appeal to friends and family.
