    What's a Rick And Morty ?

    #34 3 years ago
    Quoted from Rarehero:

It started as a riff on Doc & Marty from BTTF - it's an animated sitcom featuring alcoholic mad scientist Rick and his nerdy grandson Morty who go on crazy adventures throughout the galaxy and other dimensions.

Ahh. So I presume the suggestion of it being made into a pin was a piss take ?

    #36 3 years ago

I think they should stear clear of licences for new release films. The Hobbit films are long done and dusted and the pin still isn't out.
If they must do a licensed game then do something more classic like Bladerunner or Forbidden Planet.

    Quoted from Rarehero:

No way - it would be a great pin! It would be Super funny and there is tons of toy/rules/design opportunity with all of the crazy creatures and gizmos from the show.

But how many people have heard of it ? They would be severely limiting their potential customer base with such a left field license.

    Quoted from visi0n:

There is definitely room in a market for a Star Wars pin from both manufacturers and Disney had star wars makeup this go-around, so I'm pretty sure you can get a license to put Star Wars on anything. I guess it depends on how cleverly written the Stern license agreement is in terms of exclusivity.
I'd love to see both make a Star Wars Pin. Doubt it will happen. I'd say Harry Potter is a good chance. DC / Justice League seems likely. I'd lean towards Harry Potter, the thing about billionaires is, they like money even if they don't care for Pinball

Stern and Disney have obviously worked together before. Why not again ?

If JJP is going to stick to family friendly themes then it is about time somebody made a Hanna-Barbera themed pin. Such a wealth of material available.

    Quoted from trunchbull:

Someone needs to homebrew a 70s-style Hobbit based off the Rankin/Bass animated version.

    The unfinished cartoon ?

    Bloody British pinball Mafia.

We sit around, sipping tea from China cups, eating scones with clotted cream and discussing how best to disappoint members of Pinside.
It's a national obsession over here.

Smash the lockbar button repeatedly to escape your gym membership.

Or make it powered by a generator attached to an exercise bike.
