I would like to see JJP's take on Back to the Future. Probably would never happen though since its been done but that would be awesome if re-envisioned with the screen, modern sound and lighting... Could include an interactive delorean... A flux capacitor.. Maybe do something wild like make the flux capacitor a mini playfield with surrounded by slingshot walls so your ball would go crazy in there with some lighting effect like when it charged for a time jump in the movies.

I like the Gremlins idea. Also Muppets could work as long as classic muppets and not post Jim Henson muppets. Actually going down the Jim Henson road there are lots of cool possibilities... Fraggle Rock pin?

    Quoted from vid1900:

MOST people who are not pinheads, associate pinball with gambling and delinquency.
Thousands of cities made pinball illegal.

The old "I don't understand it... It must be evil" philosophy.

It's just frustrating to see that kind of narrow mindedness... If pinball machines were gambling machines, don't you think casino owners would be putting them in? Yeah, I get once upon a time they were but kids these days and anyone with kids probably was not even alive during the time that pinballs were manufactured for that purpose.

What?! LOL. Ok I suspected but now i know this is a just a put-on because that is just way over the top too ridiculous.

Also D&B doesn't not place pinballs because of any rif-raf it might attract (their bar handles that for them)... Its earnings for the floor space thing. The reality is that most people don't understand how to play so in the same square footage they can make 10-50 times more from a giant app like redemption game that also serves to feed their merch.

Honestly, if there is a perception that needs to be changed with pinball, it is that they are poor performers for the space. As its been said elsewhere that perception is up to us to change by going out and playing on site.

I think do think that is something that is posed to turn around though. With the new app economy, locations are turning away from video to redemption games to keep interest but I think physical pinball can also capture that.

Trying to get the topic back on the rails.....

Another cool pin theme for JJP would be Guardians of the Galaxy.

    Quoted from Skyemont:

How about compete with Spookey and come out with a Pizza Hut in lieu of Domino's.

How about it be internet connected so that it actually orders you a pizza based on your play... Make shots to add toppings... Drain gets you anchovies.

I think I'm hungry and a little too tired at the moment lol

WOZ was a huge jump for us as well. However, if this is the type of game we continue to be able to look forward to, I'm OK with it.

Will I be buying every release at this price point, heck no, I would go broke lol. However, for a game that I will be able to enjoy and consistently be challenged by for years to come... Thats got some value over a less expensive title that won't necessarily provide the same level of enjoyment.

Regardless, what an exciting time to be in the hobby. Super excited to see JJP's PL game, and with Stern has stepping up their game as well I'm also excited about rumors of a possible star wars or tron ve release from them. Plus with all the other new players coming in... I don't know if we would be seeing this kind of resurgence if it were not for the higher prices manufactures are able to get. I just wish I could buy them all...

Since I can't, now I just need someplace local to play all of these amazing games coming out.

Yeah, and they also thought smoking increased your health..
    That's not today.

Oh, and plenty of sugar is good for the kiddos... Gives them energy

Lol! When you put it that way, I think I prefer the misconception.

    Quoted from MrBally:

D & B locations had pinball machines within the past eight years. I've playe them at D & B's in Tennessee, Texas, Illinois and Michigan to name a few states.

Nice and good to hear! The one in San Diego doesn't but they are building a new one much closer (in Fresno), I will hope they put some in there.
