Quoted from Jason_Jehosaphat:JP Premiums ship...when?
End of August?
Mid-September?
Total guesstimate around end of September.
Quoted from tbutler6:Hope not...will keep and eye on what people are thinking about that on the stream tomorrow. I have my tight shot game already...
Jurassic Park looks like its going to navigate similar to ACNC, but with easier center shots vs. the tight orbits. Should be a lot of fun.
Quoted from rai:I’m maybe getting a Premium JP2 but also have an interest in Deadpool. Wondering if can manage both?
I have full confidence you can manage both @rai!
Quoted from TheCapn:I'm curious as to how much art style can really change someones mind on a buy or pass. Would art like this help or hinder your interest in the new JP?[quoted image]
This looks great!
Quoted from zombieyeti:I actually expect everyone to hate everything I do as a result...
I don’t think anyone on here hates what you do. Your work sells more pins. Iron Maiden and Dead Pool are both fantastic.
Quoted from Jason_Jehosaphat:Skill Shots
This target for skill shot?

Quoted from seenev:Stern LEs are kind of ridiculous, but look at JJP... On pirates they sold 1000 games total and the numbers were:
Standard Edition: 150
"Limited Edition": 650
Collector's Edition: 200
There's nothing limited about these games. The most limited version is often the base model.
JJP should really name the line: Standard, Premium, Collector.
Quoted from cooked71:If dr-pin and drfrightner had a baby we’d have dr-d*ckhead.
Honestly, both with a thumbs up/down ratio averaging 45%, why are they even here? Get the hint guys?
mildly amusing is the city dr-pin is from.
Trollhätan, ha.
That might be a clue....
Quoted from Dr-pin:So what about this art do you think look great? The nedry char is just as ugly as he were on the DE-pin. The dinos looks like something from a schoolbook for 10 year olds.
Dont get me started on the helicopter animation on the trailer.
Being honest, I prefer ZombiYeti's art/style more. That stated, the chances JP2 going to a very fun game to play are most likely pretty high. I love the art, rules, and layout on Iron Maiden. Do I like the music on Iron Maiden, not really. Do I love the game... yes, yes I do.
If you let one criteria category completely kill it for you with modern games, you might miss out on a lot of great pinball.
While the art on JP2 may not be as universally popular as some of the past releases, In Elwin We Trust!
Enjoy the stream tonight, 7PM CST. twitch.tv/deadflip
Quoted from Dr-pin:In what aspect beside sound integration do you think this beats willy wonka?
I want to love Wonka, the layout looks amazing.
Theme integration / mission objective wise I get more excited about trapping dinosaurs, shooting missiles, and defending against computer viruses vs. collecting chocolate bars.
Quoted from Aurich:Injection molding isn't actually that simple. It's an amortized cost model, you pay a lot up front, it's easy for molds to cost in the tens of thousands of dollars, and then the plastic for each one is cheap.
Exactly this. I work for an injection molder. It is not uncommon for some of our larger molds to be six figures.
Quoted from Yelobird:So excited to get this game!
I am excited to get all the mods you are going to make for it!
Quoted from arcadem:Which model did you sign up for?
I mean, do you really need to ask? The guy has two pirates!
Quoted from jeffgoldstein2:When are LE games shipping?
Guesstimate: Start shipping mid September.
Quoted from jonesjb:Are the Cointaker pins more expensive than from other distributors?
Best deal I have seen posted on here so far is $7300 shipped, no tax collected, pay with a credit card for a premium.
This week in pinball posted street prices as follows:
$5600 pro
$7300 premium
$8800 le
Often you will get shipping included with those prices.
Quoted from Tranquilize:I'm getting it from pinside, in threads like the one posted above. I also own imdn and can physically look at the boards. I've done alot of board repair, and these are not repairable by most who could repair Sam games. Watch the Aussie guy bitch about it on YouTube if you want to hear it from an experienced router.
I'm not trying to bash Stern or be aggressive about node boards. A guy asked if they are a potential issue, and the jury is out on it. I own a spike game, and I'm not excited about boards I can't repair. The proprietary data makes the repair discussion moot anyway.
My question to you is, do you really believe the boards are going to last forever and that Sterns unwritten warranty is infinite?
I am guessing over time solutions / services for repairing the boards will become more common. In the meantime, if you aren't comfortable with the risk sell the game you have while it is working and play more games at friends or on location and stick with older games for purchase. Not much else you can do.
Quoted from sk8ball:The helicopter blade is a horizontal optical spinner which will be attached to some rules in the prem/ le. I wouldn't recommend replacing it with a toy.
Now I am curious how the pro is going to detect the helipad shot (there's inserts) and what the premium is going to do with this in the rules!

Quoted from cpr9999:Assuming they are shipping Pros.
When will they start shipping LEs?
When will they start shipping Premiums?
Probably end of Aug / Early Sept for LEs
End of Sept / Early Oct for Premiums
