I want to argue too
Can’t decide what my disagreement should be though.
Also not sure who I want to argue with.
Might start a poll

Quoted from Multiballmaniac1:Just woke up. Dreamt about Jurassic Park all night.
I dreamt I was homeless & living with a mean old Asian lady with an agressive dog.
Weird. My wife is Irish & I'm allergic to pets.
F'n edibles. Never again.
What’s street price on a Premium?
I can pay $7,499 retail & get 2.625% credit card rewards to net a price of $7,302 shipped
Is anyone hearing better with a cash or wire transaction?
GOTG = Clips of movies with errbody calling it a cut/paste "phone in" job
JP2 = Custom animations with errbody asking "where are the clips"
Lol
Also. This seems like a hybrid. It's somewhere between an original theme & a licensed game. I like it. Cool.
I can't drink beer anymore
Makes me black out then hunt for trollops & eightballs
But I do eat sandwiches
Has anyone been quoted street price for Premiums yet?
Quoted from jimwe5t:Great price! Competition keeps the world going round...
Meh
It’s only $2 less than paying full retail pricing after credit card rewards.
Quoted from jdroc:I got a price of $7,299 shipped, no tax, for my premium and that's paying with a credit card...so not mutually exclusive
Aaaand now I’m going to buy from your distro
Quoted from pickleric:Best deal I have seen posted on here so far is $7300 shipped, no tax collected, pay with a credit card for a premium.
This week in pinball posted street prices as follows:
$5600 pro
$7300 premium
$8800 le
Often you will get shipping included with those prices.
Someone here said they were able to use a credit card @ $7300 shipped, no tax.
That’s the best deal so far to my knowledge. Drives the price down to $7,108 after 2.625% BoA rewards
I said this before, but after 3% PayPal fees + 10% eBay fees distros only see $6,547
My next door neighbor is prolly buying one. Me too. We’re going to combine our orders to see if we can get a better price. Now I know not to call Cointaker, lol.
Quoted from SkillShot:Really? Most places seem to at least try to charge you a 3% credit card fee, which is actually illegal in some states. This is usually true of even the popular distributors found here on Pinside.
Most folks here are saying the "super secret cash/wire call 10 distro's street price" is $7299
Regular ol "buy a pinball machine on your ipad from anyone while taking a shit & using a credit card price" is $7499
That's 3%
Many CC's offer rewards of almost 3%
It's a wash guys.
If you're in a state with sales tax on out of state online purchases than the ND distro is legit AF.
Buy a game on ebay & it's $7229 after CC rewards of 2.625% + ebay bucks rewards of 1%
Is anyone getting JP for less than $7229?
If not then just buy the shit on ebay unless trading with a dealer. I may trade one of my games towards Elvira if it's worth the convenience costs.
Quoted from fosaisu:Do you get good distributor support when buying through eBay (I'm assuming it's just the usual Stern dealers selling there as well)? Seems like distributors can be very helpful if you run into any tech or warranty issues down the line.
Fair question, and I agree support is important on such a large purchase.
I bought my Aerosmith from Game Room Guys.
My AS cabinet was a turd NIB. GRG got Stern to replace it & send a tech to my house for the PF swap.
I bought my Golden Tee from Game Room Guys. The sound was cutting out brand new. It took 3 Nighthawks & an IO board to resolve. GRG facilitated all the repairs & used their own money to cover the deposit required on warranty parts from Incredible Technologies.
GRG had tech support, actual techs, to assist me whenever I needed it. Their team lead was awesome. GRG has a showroom, online store, ebay store & I think they're a significant operator too.
GRG is high volume. Stern wants to preserve that partnership. IMO that's one major reason I was taken care of because Stern ignored several of my requests for a simple & free kit they posted a TSB for regarding my game.
So long story short... I'm afraid to do business with a low volume distro.
I'm probably buying JP from GRG via their ebay store
But... I am going to give another guy a shot that takes trades. He seems cool, others vouch for the guy & we know some of the same folks.
I edited the post. It’s $7229 on eBay after incentives, rewards & such.
Quoted from TheLaw:FINALLY!!!!! the dimpling threads can now begin!
Quoted from Darscot:You really shouldn't use gay in that context, I'm not judging you as I have used it myself before realizing the impact it can have.
I think you misread the situation so I'm gonna repost this gif to clarify
Quoted from Darscot:triggered
Hey you can’t use that word. Only we can use that word.
Anyway, its gonna get weird if we don’t all move on from this so let’s get back to the Jurassic Mania Hype Frenzy!!!
Quoted from flynnibus:Things I noticed on this vs other recent sterns I've setup.
It has metal washers under the slingshot star posts... trying to be defensive about the recent clearcoat issues? They also had fatter washers under any of the metal posts with nut bottoms. Plastic posts had no washers.. and some star posts further up the PF also did not have washers under them.
Power plug on back has some sort of hood now.. keep fluids out of the socket?
Looks like there will be lots of strategy on how scores are boosted with this title...
Dang. It's almost like Stern is legit trying to make better & better games lately.
I knew all my Pinside bitching would pay off.
You're all welcome guys
Quoted from Yoko2una:Ruh row raggy

Aaaand just like that my JP fever has cooled
Stern replaced my shit AS cabinet so I'm still a loyal customer but I'mma mos def sit back & wait on JP after seeing Beatles w/this same prob.
What is Stern doing for the Beatles owners with F'd clear?
Quoted from Green-Machine:I was offered a lower price but it’s a secret now that you say Stern has a limit.
My price was even lower than yours but I cant talk about it
