Quoted from Oneangrymo:

my JP LE came about 2 weeks ago, and its still in my garage on pallet. I dont have energy to open it, would it be safe in the garage during a Michigan Winter? Or can that cause some damage?

It would be safe & warm in my basement all winter.

Put it in your climate controlled, non-smoking basement and it will appreciate in value 100% each year

You got to be kidding? You're going to leave it there all winter in an un opened box?

I guess Ill just roll it into the basement for storage and keep the pallet for later. I just dont want any damage to it, not sure if the Michigan Winter in a garage can mess things up or not.

Ya. I know the old plasma displays could be ruined by the cold, but not sure about the modern LCD pins of today. I'd play it safe as well.

Personally, I would keep it in a climate controlled environment free from pests like rodents and bugs. Also away from liquids.

JP LE has a mirrored backglass. Extreme temperature and humidity changes are not good for any pin. Get it inside.
