Out of the rumored titles, other than Led Zepp I’m pulling for Jaws or Bond. Do we really need another Jurassic game? This would be number 3 right? Enough of the do overs already.

The code name of the project is Jaws....as in the jaws of a dinosaur. They would never make the code name for the project an actual game name!

SPECTRE made almost a billion dollars. It sucked but it certainly wasn't a bomb, it was the second-highest grossing film in the 50 + year history of the franchise.

The one before it Skyfall was the biggest hit they've ever had.

Pretty sure you have to go back to around 1989 for a Bond movie that properly flopped. These things are a license to kill...the box office that is!!!

Let’s be real here, the last ghostbusters movie was really bad. The best version that will ever be made of that story was made it the 80s with some of the best comedians and comedic writers in the business

People also complained when they hired Daniel Craig..."James Bond shouldn't have blond hair." Not sure it's totally because of Craig, but I'd put Casino Royale, right up there with the best of Sean Connery or any other Bond. I'm not going to prejudge this next film simply because they are switching up the gender and race.

Even though TMNT or a Maters of the Universe would almost be instant buys, and now with the SDCC announcement about MOTU (can I hold hope?), I think a Stranger Things would kill on location. I also think Harry Potter and Pokémon would also kill on location. The latter with perhaps mobile integration? Can only catch rare Pokémon at the pinball machine? Have to track down a pro or premium model for certain ones and a LE for the rarest? I personally don’t like that property, but a lot of people do and that might even get a younger audience into pinball.

C'mon, Levi, don't shy away from the best example of this....Star Wars. Well, they did have two good movies, before everything went to shit. I'm still a Star Wars fan, or at least I want to be. They just make it really hard. I hoped that once Lucas bailed, the franchise could get new life. Unfortunately they just tried to stitch together a bunch of timelines to create more opporunities to make money. The movies still suck.

Idk. I think the Star Wars movies were always for kids and are still extremely popular with kids. My nephews love the new movies as much as the old movies. My niece adores Rey. I didn't grow up watching or playing with Star Wars so the property has never meant much to me.

The only thing that has really changed is the tone of the movie. Slightly less violent and with a little more comedic elements. But that's what happens when toy sales dominate the box office earnings.

They're fun movies, but they're among the most cut and dry good vs evil stories ever told. They have some cool sword play and ships in outer space going PEW PEW PEW. I don't think anyone ever goes to Star Wars for the plot (good wins! except that one time during the best movie in the franchise)

As to the female 007. It just wouldnt be Bond. Bond by his nature is a relic from a different time. I love how casually in the first Bond movie, he lets the girl hes dancing with take the bullet for him. Hes a cocky, chauvinistic, sex addict spy who ultimately doesnt really care about anyone (anymore)
I'd say 007 just doesnt appeal to todays crowds anymore but recasting as a black woman doesn't feel like the next step in the Bond series. No matter how successful, it will still be a new spy flick, not a Bond flick.

Would actually be a great code name if they did it just one time since no one would see it coming for this reason

Well Jurassic Park is a pretty strong license that would do well on route.. and there's probably not that many JP or JP Lost World on location today.
