Ok, I know this may be a stupid question, but I couldn't find anything on the internet about Newton ball removals. I've got two gold Newton balls that I'm putting in my tuned up TOTAN. I've unscrewed the nut that holds them from the bottom of the playfield and I've been trying to unscrew the Newton ball itself for the past ten minutes. It's not coming out. The Newton ball is spinning as I unscrew it, but it just doesn't come out any bit.

Just wanted to check if this is indeed the correct way to remove these things.

you might have to lightly tap it from the bottom until the threads can help you unscrew by biting into the wood. the first part of the post is smooth.
