Just in case anyone is curious, I used the back of a nut driver to rest on the screw (since it is far down there and buried under cables), and hit it with another nut driver to pop it out.

Same situation with mine.
Driver on driver isn't working though....
My newton ball had rust pits on it, hence me wanting to replace it.
