About Time 
The new company assumes the rights to manufacture new and existing parts, as well as the rights to make whole machines under the Bally name. The Pinball Factory name will no longer be used, but the current business of Mr Pinball Australia - repair, machines and parts sales - will continue and they will be a distributor for PPS products.
So what happens to all those poor souls who put money down with the other guy who never delivered the re-make machines promised ? (I'm guessing the new company was smart enough to distance themselves from that liability).
Let's hope for good things. We all know Bay Area Amusements is a responsible and reliable company.
I have a good feeling about this, seeing who the people behind PPS are. Bay Area Amusements has always been a great name for distribution and parts and who knows what good they can do with these rights. What about a Medieval Madness remake, anyone? 
We -as in the community- really need a party like PPG to keep pinball parts coming and keep them affordable. Let's hope prices for parts will go down and make the hobby more accessible and fun to all of us.
