Wondering about this from people who own newer machines and older ones. Even going from B/W machines of the 90's to new Stern ones. Do they look weird next to each other? Having played the new Avengers a bunch, it sure looks pretty. This wouldn't hold me back or anything, but it got me wondering if a new one would look completely out of place next to a TZ and TAF or something.

I have never thought they look strange next to eachother, it is odd to see a pin all alone though.

To me the lighting/effects on the last few Stern LEs (AcDc, XM, Av) definitely look new and bright compared to the earlier machines with the bulb lighting. And the art on XM LE was particularly excellent, when I had it next to a LOTR it was a stark contrast... One looked like a much newer machine than the other.

But before the last few Sterns? No, almost any from the 90s to early last year do not look weird or different next to each other, nearly indiscernable actually.

Sometimes ya just gotta move em around until they look right. Even if it means you now need to purchase a new globe for your ceiling fan light. See my gameroom pic.

I mix them up on purpose. In general, people tend to gravitate more towards DMDs so I spread them out and put the less enticing pins within easier reach.

If I were to put Central Park at the far end, it would collect more dust than it already does. But by placing it in the middle, next to the always popular WWF, it gets noticed.

Baywatch is another popular pin, sandwiched between two 'thinker', arguably less 'funner', pins: Catacomb and Spectrum. I try to scramble gameplay as well as aesthetics.

Pardon the blurry panorama images from my phone. Need to practice moving slower on my android phone.

I keep the sterns on one side and the older machines on the other until I run out of space.

I line them up in order of age. Personally, I like to see the progression.
