stupid question but what is purpose and functionality of this switch on the inside of coin door (paragon) ? For some reason on project machine I bought, this switch was placed at the coin entry slot? No coin chutes were in my machine.

Slam tilt.

Kick the door, machine goes to game over.

Quoted from LTG:

Slam tilt.
Kick the door, machine goes to game over.

Done to prevent hard kicks or drops to the machine causing the machine to give out free credits.
