Hi guys. First post here.
I’m looking at getting into pinball. It started by wanting a Vpin but after reading about it, I decided to increase the budget a little to get the real deal. I’ve been reading lots on this forum and I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy the hobby.
Trying to find an affordable machine in Canada is not easy!
There’s a Data East Sevret Service machine going for 2200$. No mods but all working. Ok condition. I put the pics of the listing. I’ll be trying it out tomorrow but is it overpriced? They won’t go any lower and I can’t really afford much more.
Any advice is appreciated!

My first pin purchase I liked it a lot.

Good luck.

Do not buy that man. You can save a bit more to 3-4K and get a decent Bally Williams DMD

Its a fun game and at thay price u better be on his driveway. There is no shortage of competitive buyers on the canadian market.

No affiliation with seller, but this one looks nicer and possibly cheaper? Not sure what the exchange rate is right now..

Thanks for all the advice! The one in Ohio does look good but shipping would probably be expensive. I would love DMD machine but they are indeed minimum 4K which is out of my league for a first pin. I wish we had more options up here…

That cabinet has been repaired on the back corner and badly. The center plastic is busted up pretty bad too. Usually the black plastic ramp is beat to death as well. Legs are incorrect, they should not be chrome but rather flat black instead. Spinners are incorrect and the door lock needs to be replaced, not to mention it's all scratched up. Who knows what else is wrong or not working? Save your money.

That’s a bunch for the detailed review. I’ll skip on this one and keep monitoring for new postings.

What a cool looking game. Anyone know how the ball gets into that shepherd’s crook shaped wireform at the top?

To veer off topic… I’ve not seen this machine before and that backglass has stopped me in my tracks. I can’t stop thinking about it. I could watch a whole show about the creative process behind that. Somehow a bunch of mustached guys in yellow jump suits with machine guns end up in a scene with a woman standing in the chair of a speeding vehicle staring oddly off camera and the guy driving the sports car is aiming and some damn thing in front of the car and as the mustached guys with FOUR machine guns fire at this woman 5 feet away somehow everything is in perfect condition and no one is bloodied. I’m not sure I will ever be the same after this.
