Hi all, first post and love the site. My new purchase is a Williams Pinbot. Great shape. Only issue is, it's been sitting for about 14 years. Luckily the batteries weren't corroded, but after changing them, still starts in "Adjust Failure. " Only the top two score displays are functional at this point. Working on making a list of what I need, and cleaning the years of dust where it's been idle. I did find the original manual under the playfield, so that was a nice surprise. Looking forward to digging in and learning my new hobby. So, hello!

Update on Pinbot. Still have the adjust error, and checking the power at diode 7 shows little if any voltage, so I think the battery box is bad. I had a pop bumper blown apart that destroyed the coil, so I completely rebuilt that. I have parts for the bottom pop bumper on order, as I took it apart to adjust the switch, and the wafers fell apart. There were no GI lights in the backbox, but a friend told me to check the molex at the powerboard, so I replaced it and now have lights. I do still have an issue with the left eye not registering a ball in the socket, and I'm thinking on replacing the switches as adjusting them has not improved it - it's hit or miss, mostly miss. All in all, I'm enjoying learning all about repair and maintenance. It's really not as scary as I first envisioned. Come January, I'll be up to 4 pins. You can't have just one!
