Sweet, been looking for one of these. D8224 boards sold out everywhere else I've looked. Just bought one from you!

You don't happen to sell a WILLIAMS SYSTEM 7 MPU, 1D-2001-133-7 replacement for Cosmic Gunfight do you?

Nice! I just bought one for my Pharaoh. Thank you!

Now, anyway to get you to make a Stern SB100 sound board?

Turns out there is a weird compatibility issue with Black Knight and Alien Poker that require a different flavor of speech chip. All outstanding orders for BK and AP have been fulfilled with a compatible speech chip, but going forwards BK and AP are not going to be supported until either I figure out a work around or find HC1-55516.

new boards coming up likely in this order... Bally Aux LDB -52, then WPC89 CPU, then SB100. I have a mostly working through hole version prototype of SB100. I got to convert it over for SMT assembly which is probably 20-40 hours of work on the computer.

Let me see if I have this right.
I can buy the sound bound for $105 shipped and then move the IC's from my working speech board onto your board?
I have an Alien Poker.
I think the main issue I am having with the sound is it plays the wrong sounds at the wrong times (sometimes) and will also blank out intermittently.
I think one issue might be the solder on the connectors but I have flowed them and cleaned the pins. It seems when I fiddle with the connector area, the sounds come back for a while then goes in and out at random. Sometime just slapping the backbox brings the sounds back.
Thanks!

In theory you could do this you would need.

Harris Speech codec 55516
op amp 1458 x2
new combined speech ROM burned onto dip32 ROM.
All the SMT resistors, capacitors, and etc needed for speech are included on the sound only version of the board. Almost always do I stuff the IC sockets for the harris speech chip, speech rom and op amps, but no guarantee I do that for every sound only board.
