I noticed that some folks here have been using the SparkFun MP3 Trigger for sounds and wanted to let you know that the new WAV Trigger can play and mix up to 8 independent stereo sounds. Trigger response time is around 20 msecs, less if you trigger sounds through the serial port, which supports MIDI as well. Here's a demo video:
