I just bought a new TV last week to replace a top of the line 60" Pioneer Elite KURO plasma. I've been itching for a new TV for a couple years. I loved the KURO, but the newest crop of TVs are so much brighter and have so much more "pop", especially when watching HDR content. My family room has a lot of windows, and was never an ideal viewing environment for a plasma. That's why I specifically stayed away from OLED when looking for a replacement set. I've had my eye on the 65" Sony Z9F Master Series for a while, and when they recently dropped the price from $3,500 to $1,799, I pounced. I have to say, I'm extremely happy with the new set. It's motion handling isn't as good as the KURO, but I find it to be a much more satisfying viewing experience overall. The black levels are great, and even the viewing angles are fairly impressive for an LCD. It's also nice being able to fit a 65" TV in the same space that my 60" occupied.
