Like the title says I'm new to pinball. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to start? I currently have a 1967 Williams Derby Day. It worked fine until I took the back off and stored it for about 6 months. Now after power up and hitting the coin switch I get relay activity, the ball release turret moves but does not fire. Even more notable is the game over lite is on. If I manually reset the game over relay the game appears to work normalish, but no score activity, ball count lite doesn't count. I'm handy and familiar with general electronics but don't know what relays should fire or when. How can I learn the sequence of relay activity?

ForceFlow Can you move this to the EM tech section please?
Framus Welcome to the hobby. You'll find the EM section of Pinrepair very helpful: http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index.htm

This part describes the start-up sequence: http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index3.htm#start

Hi Framus Welcome to pinside!

Quoted from Framus:

the game over lite is on.

According to the manual at https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=667&picno=639

Make sure you plugged in all the connectors between the main unit (body) and the lightbox (head). Double check them to make sure they're plugged in correctly too.
