Just got into pinball. Kicked it off with an AC/DC Premium and an Avengers LE (No. 36) blue. TigerLaw will post my pics a bit later. Glad to be on the site.

Welcome! Nice games and congratulations. I hope you live close to Tiger. When I come to LC, I want the city wide pinball tour.

He is the one I added to our ark-la-tex fb page a couple weeks ago. He lives about four blocks from me and about two miles from Jodster. One year ago the only pinball machine in Lake Charles that I knew of was my Doctor Who that was broken. One year later we proudly have:
Doctor Who
BSD
Tron LE
LOTR
WW
FH
STTNG
XMen LE
Avengers LE
ACDC Premium
Batman Forever
Party Zone
We not yet pinball mecha, but we aren't the Mohabi Dessert any longer either, which is awesome. I took a ton of pics of Speed picking up his machines at Joystix in Houston and having them at his house now. I will upload them tonight.

Talk about jumping in with both feet! Welcome to the hobby and to Pinside!
Seeing that first pic I posted reminds me that I forgot my pengiun dolly at Speed's house. That sounds like a great excuse to go back and play some more pinball!!!
Here are some pics from Joystix in Houston, where Speed bought the games a couple nights ago. We got there right as they were closing but Charles, the owner (who you will see in these pics) let us stay for four hours after he was closed and play pinball and see what we liked best (and he helped us figure out how to load them up):
Hey neighbor.
Welcome to the boards.
Now you have got to do the cool cannon mod for the AC/DC and the cube mod for the Avengers.
Both are awesome machines.
I'm new myself but welcome! Wish I had started coming here a long time ago as I only discovered this site a few months back.
Great start with those pins by the way, hope I can get those someday.

You are welcome anytime... The more the merrier We will gladly roll out the red carpet for you! How do you like Twilight Zone? Looks light a great game - definitely a great theme.
Quoted from APOLLO_13:Welcome to the Side Speed, I'll be hitting Joystixs in about a week.
Absolutly worth the stop. Joystix is a lot of fun. They have a ton of older arcade games as well.

Atually, what we need to do is pop up to Nevus's place for one of his parties. He has a great spread of machines and is an awesome host.
Had a lot of fun a Speed's house tonight with Jodster and Pinball-is-great (two other great pinsiders). Lake Charles is really turning into a pinball mecha! Can't seem to get the photos to load, Jodster, can you load some here?
Welcome-it is very addicting. I love how pinball brings family together-your kids and all of their friends will love playing the silver ball!
