Well for the first time in over 10 years I now have a pinball machine in my house. I picked up a 1979 Williams Flash today off craigslist. The machine is in pretty good condition, and my kids love playing it. Now I just hope I get to play it sometimes.

The only issue I have found with the machine is that it does not hold settings. Hopefully it a just some dead batteries on the logic board.

Thanks all. I've already swapped out the batteries, and the settings are now holding. The only issue I have now is I can't get it into diagnostic mode. It won't go past the self test

Lucky dude.. I'd love to have another machine, just so I can tinker with it without telling the kids they can't play. Plus, I'd love to do a p-roc conversion.

Yup, I have been actively looking for another early SS machine to serve as a test bed for P-roc. I would prefer a Williams machine because there is a driver board available for P-roc that makes the conversion almost plug and play. Pm me if you have something you might want to sell.
