Just installed them on my BIB. Now it looks like it should have from the factory.

Just installed these things are they they are way too bright. I'm not someone who shy's away from LED's either but these are just too much. I love the build quality & concept of the idea but they went just a little too far on the brightness.

Anyone interested in a set PM me.

The first thing I did was add a 150 ohm resistor in series with each of mine because they are way too bright. I like them a little dimmer and I'm sure most people would be happy with 120 ohm resistors. Try it, you'll like the results and keep them.

A 1/4 or 1/2 watt resistor?

1/4w 5% tolerance is fine.

BUMP... I purchased a set, and I think they are GREAT! I did see some light effects that I never noticed before. I highly recommend this mod.

These things are awesome! Definately the most noticed mod I have put on the game so far. Nice work Pinbits.

I received the new blue filters a while back and forgot to mention how great they work now. Not nearly as blinding and visually a great improvement over the stock flashers. I'd recommend buying these with either the red or blue filters available from Pinbits!!!

Thanks again to Pinbits for the fast and Incredible customer service!!!!

They're GREAT!!! And for my family, over-the-top rock concert "too" bright!! Wouldn't change a thing!

Best ACDC mod evah!!!

#64 10 years ago

Definitely a blinding mod

pinbits is also excellent to deal with, first class all the way.

Just installed mine. Blinding is an understatement. Wow really nice. Looks like the front panels are actually absorbing real lightning power

Will have to stop staring at them or will need laser surgery lol

I laser cut some 3mm acrylic and swapped out the metal backer then bokted the existing lamp holder to that. You do have to disassemble the boys but it's not stupidly bright and what they should have done at the factory. Probably cost me £5.

#73 10 years ago

I have thought about ordering these but fear they will be too blinding. Does anyone feel they are too bright?

#74 10 years ago

They are extremely bright. I love it. Reminds me of explosions at a rock concert. As far as I'm concerned the more flash and bling the better.
