Jeep Grand Cherokee does not fit Gotlieb DMD pins but does fit Bally/Williams/Stern DMD pins.

    #52 8 years ago

My '04 Honda Pilot is an excellent pin-hauler. I've moved DMD pins and older widebodies.

I suspect all years of Pilots would work....but can only speak for the '04.

    #53 8 years ago

I undated this list based on model years.. If the model generation held it, all years should be able to hold it... Right? Lets keep this thing going. If you see anything on thing on the list that needs notes (Like it wont fit a NIB or a System 3... ect.) please let me know.

I know a guy picked up a game for me in a new at the time (2011 or 2012) Acura MDX and he couldnt close the lift gate on a Wpc game. Maybe some MDX owners can chime in.

I have fit two pins in my 2005 Toyota 4-runner.

    Quoted from Riptor:

Need info on game model, gen, and if you had to remove a head. Or did 2 sys 11's just fit, or 2 dmd games.

    #57 8 years ago

    Agreed that would help.

2004 Tahoe is what I use. I have fit 2 DMD machines in it. One sideways behind the front seats, and the other straight in. The hatch didn't close. I ratchet strapped the back one in. Had padding between both machines and bungeed down the tailgate with padding between that and the machine. The two games were Goldeneye and No Good Gofers.

2015 Honda Pilot here and I love it. Huge, decent on gas, super reliable, and since 2015 is the last year of the model you can get a great deal on them now.

    #60 8 years ago

Taking Honda Pilot out of all years since it has a new model year.

The 4 door wrangler will fit NIB games no problem. I've done it many times. No need to remove the top or anything like that.

    #62 8 years ago

I know that the all the older models (07 - 14) of Ford Edge will fit B/W (SS) or Stern but I don't know if the 2015 with the new rear hatch will or not.

    #63 8 years ago

Bobukcat - good heads up on the Ford Edge, That was on my list for a possible next car.

Local has a 2009 Santa Fe that fits WPC no problem as I was with him when we brought a TS back from PAPA in March.

    #68 8 years ago

I have a 2014 Mazda CX-5, fits a WPC game fine with the head folded down. It's about the smallest SUV that fits a pin, which is perfect for me. As long as they did not change anything for 2015/2016 years, it should be fine. I did not get the CX-9 as the back sloped down to much and I don't think a pin would fit.

Replaced a 2006 Mazda Tribute, any year Tribute will fit a pin, but they stopped making that model.

    Bill

    #69 8 years ago

2007 acura rdx: stern, de and Williams wide body. At some point (later year) they went to fold and tumble seating which did not fit pins.

ALL year Acura MDX < 2014 will fit the above pins.

    #70 8 years ago

I'm sure you've seen it but this:
    http://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Vehicles_for_Moving_Pinball_Machines

may have some useful info. It'd be cool if your able to input your list when done as well, great to have all of this consolidated in one place!

    #71 8 years ago

2014-2016 Subaru Forester will fit a DMD

    #72 8 years ago

That moves the CX-5 off the ???? list. Looks like it came out in 2013 and hasn't changed.. yet.
Santa Fe confirmed through 2012, still need to check the 3rd gen.
Added RDX and note that newer will not fit pins
    Added notes to MDX
Fosaisu - I didn't see this. I will add their list to mine and try to do the same to theirs. (This has not been added in this update (only Audi and Acura added so far))
    Added Wont Fit Section

    Quoted from northvibe:

Need info on game model, gen, and if you had to remove a head. Or did 2 sys 11's just fit, or 2 dmd games.

Black knight and Xenon, slid them in side by side. Heads removed and set flat on top. It was snug but enough room around them so they did not rub anywhere.

I hauled a system 11 in it a few months ago. Head folded down. No way will a pin fit without removing the head.

Any model year Infiniti QX4 will fit. Same for GMC Envoy.

    Quoted from exflexer:

2014-2016 Subaru Forester will fit a DMD

Barely. I have a 2014 and TAF scraped the roof a little. It fits, it's just super snug. Too snug that I won't be moving any more DMD's with the head on.

Should have no problem fitting one in a full size Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, or Cherokee Chief. Any year.
Just fold the back seat forward.

Toyota Highlander 2006 will fit Stern/Williams regular body. My goto machine for long pin trips.

Can anyone verify that a 2016 Honda Pilot can fit a pin in it? It has a new design starting this year and the height in the back door lift area looks questionable.

Also i can verify as i have one that a 04 and 05 gmc envoy xuv can fit 1 pin with the second row folded down completely enclosed and two pins fit in with the tailgate down. Second pin will hang off tailgate maybe 6 to 8 inches i seem to recall. Its an ideal pinball mover although the gate is a bit high for shorter folks.

"2013 - 2016 - Ford Escape - Fits sterns and DE, sys 3 gottlieb's were an inch too short"

I'd like to edit this. I just moved a Gottlieb Sys 3. The hatch is 1" too short, so the game is 1" too tall w/ head folded. However, I unscrewed the head, slid it forward and the game fit in the Escape. The pinwiki makes it look like the game is too long for the vehicle.

I used to put all of my games in my various SUV's...the potential for damage to the truck or the game wasnt worth it. I use my 4x8 trailer now to haul all of my games.

    You were doing it wrong.

    Mazda CX-9 confirmed to fit.

Anyone know about a 2014 Acura MDX?

What data would really help me out is which ones will carry a NIB machine. That is what I'm looking for in the next 2 years.

Anyone have any real world feedback on moving pins in a current model Mazda CX-5 or Subaru Forester?

Mazda CX-5 fits a pin with backbox folded down no problem too

Usually someone goes through every once in a while and activates accounts. I'm not an admin over there, so I can't.

However, it looks like your account was just activated a few weeks ago: http://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=User_talk:Toyotaboy

Nope... unless you remove the head?

Thx, cross it off the list. Looking at a Honda Pilot now. I know it fits easily in there. Amazing how pinball has taken over so many facets of my life and dictates what choices are made.

Besides the fact that a pinball machine won't fit, it's a great vehicle.

Pilot , well the older boxy one, fits sterns but not a sys3 unless you put it on its side.

2016 pilot? Just went to look at one and there is about 30.5" of clearance, maybe a tad more. I think it should fit, but wondered if anyone has actually done it. Really nice suv btw. My POTC measures 30.25 and my BW is 30" so I think it should fit, no issue with b/w games, which are 29".

2012 and 2014 Ford Escape hauled all my DMDs

what year was the redesign? is the 2014 the new one?

    #99 7 years ago

I know the older and up to 2016 Equinox by Chevy will haul 1 pin the back seat adjusts you have to pull it forward all the way or it will not fit. The Terrain is the GMC version but don't know for sure about it.

After hauling plenty of pins with ease in a 2005 Toyota sequoia, I recently traded it in on a 2013 Ford explorer. My first machine pick up with it was a Space Shuttle, 2 hours away. I was surprised to find myself struggling to get it in the truck, having to force it in. When it was in far enough it dropped down an inch or so as it cleared the plastic trim underneath, which made it difficult to get back out later. Are there any other owners of this vehicle that can confirm other pins will fit?
