I'd most likely buy one , I like slayer a lot ,but I would also have to like the game itself (layout , rules , artwork, etc. ) . If zombie yeti is doing the artwork it's a safe bet I will like the art .
Quoted from Gryszzz:Probably just making "party" small talk, but Jared did ask me a couple times what I thought of a Slayer pin. I kept telling him BangerJay already made one...gimme Maiden with Riggs.
Controllable pop bumpers for flippers . This is the only pic I could find . Anyone got a picture of the rules for bangerjay's slayer game ?
Quoted from trunchbull:Haha are there no flippers at the bottom?
Pop bumpers that are contolled with the flipper buttons instead of flippers .
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:Looks like he used an old '73 Gottlieb Hot Shot / Big Shot playfield. If he made use of parts/rules from one of those machines, then normally you are trying to get down as many of the 14 drop targets as you can which advances bonus, and trying to get ball through upper center roll-over or in center kick-out hole. The side rollovers adv bonus when lit (alternating) I believe. Bonus value 3000 is on last ball. Alternating special is lit when all targets dropped including center target iirc.
Yep a Big Shot was sacrificed to make this game ,way harder with bumpers for flippers though .
Quoted from bangerjay:Your girlfriend has to pay gene Simmons
Fuck Gene Simmons, Kiss SUCKS !
Quoted from cycochris:hell NO. but if that same game was rethemed to Slayer, then yes. honestly i think a music pins are all about the band. so you could have the same game and 3 different music themes as a release. eg aerosmith, slayer & beastie boys. all the same game just different themes, chances are people are only going to want one of them. for me it would be slayer.
that way stern could do 1 music pin a year, just 3 different varieties.
This could work . No way in hell would I ever buy an Aerosmith pin , but same game themed as Slayer I would buy.
Quoted from Wakky:Slay who ? Never heard of them .
The poll about says it also with majority voting NO . Mustnt be a well liked brand or something to get a negative vote like that ?
Majority rules in this case
You say you've never heard of them yet you posted in this thread 38 days ago . 38 days is plenty of time to read through this thread , google them whatever . By now you should at least know who they are and what their music sounds like . If it is not the type of music you are into , that's fine this type of music is not for everyone but you can stop with the slay what , slay who nonsense . Clearly you know who they are but just don't care for them , and that is fine . You could simply say I don't like them or their music and would not buy a slayer themed pinball machine and then drain this thread or whatever . Seems as though you are trying to provoke people at this point.
