You're going to be in every new game thread like a kid with their nose up against the bakery window, fogging the glass with your breath, looking at all the other children laughing and playing pinball. Every once in a while you'll sigh, then eventually shuffle away with your hand in your pockets, kicking at rocks, and muttering about stupid Slayer.

I would give Stern props for having more balls than I imagined if they actually do a Slayer pin. Believe it when it happens. Sounds awesome though.

I think the idea is rad, so I'd be happy to be wrong. But ... I don't believe it. If it does happen and South of Heaven isn't featured on the game we riot though, just to be clear.

Tough call between that and South of Heaven for me. Seasons is an amazing album, but SoH is just so different, they explored some really different shit. To be honest I stopped listening after Seasons though, so I can't really judge their catalog post that.

I'm a doubter too, but I dunno about too niche. Pins these days are a success with a few thousand sales (wish we knew real Stern numbers, I'm super curious) you don't need to target everyone, just enough.

Slayer is obviously not for everyone, but they're pretty mainstream as far as metal stuff that isn't glam goes. There's already been a digital Slayer pin app for instance.

Guess you'll be stuck with the Summertime Blues now.

If you live in CA and you've never heard of Slayer it doesn't make you a bad person. It is pretty surprising though.
