I love current hip hop. Nothing wrong with listening to Slayer and Gucci Mane back to back in my book!

Aurich u know I do that as well, I'm talking the pop shit here and that applies to a lot of Hip Hop.

    #303 6 years ago

    Look guys,
No way Tipper and PMRC are going to give approval for a Slayer pinball machine, or a pinball with any of that gangsta music, or any of the other death and destruction metal music.

    #312 6 years ago

When I was in Austin in 2008 they were taking a public poll on what to name their trash company. Fred Durst Trash won. Really.

Go kneel in the corner on rice for 15 minutes and just think about your comments young man.
    punished-in_corner_kneeling (resized).jpgpunished-in_corner_kneeling (resized).jpg

Edit, clarification: I would have gotten a temp-ban and/or thread-eject if I had posted most of the other images that came up upon doing a search on "kneel in corner on rice images".

    #323 6 years ago

    I vote for the temp-ban/eject.

    ....I must resist googling this...LOL

    #325 6 years ago

Wow. I actually played a Limp Biscuit vid in a fuckin Slayer thread.
Free uppercuts next time I see ya . So sorry. To the altar of sacrifice I march.

    #326 6 years ago
    Quoted from Gryszzz:

Last time Violent Steve was here we jammed on Frank all day. Then the Dead, then his band before I forced him to listen to Christ Beheaded and Whiskeytits

Forgot about Eddie Money. Whole lotta Eddie Money.

Ok Gryszzz, slow down, take a break. It took you less than an hr to get off track, after catching yourself getting off track.
The thread topic title is only 4 words long, and includes the words Slayer and pinball.

"Slayer and Pinball" they really do sound great together

    #329 6 years ago

Just a side note: Gryszz sounds like he's in,but, this is aiming at a small portion of interest here. Not family friendly. And I wonder if the punk,hip-hoppers buy pins for their decorations,or just to smash up!!!???

    Quoted from hawkmoon:

99% of pinball owners are NOT on Pinside.

I go to people's homes all the time to fix their games, they have NEVER heard of Pinside.

(before you ask, 75% of people have TAF, Bally Playboy or both, in their basements)

Slayer is Stern's chance to let their nuts hang.

A limited run pin to keep the line running that used to run MMr.

Not family friendly, not a child's superhero, not a children's movie, not an old classic rock band overplayed on Clearchannel radio.....an actual metal band pin that a real man can buy without his wife's permission.

    #332 6 years ago
    Quoted from nwpinball:

Don't loose hope, maybe they will make a Barry Manilow pin next.

My hope is dueling pianos Elton John vs. Billy Joel. Using the platform Data East tried (2 games attached) on Total Recall......

    #333 6 years ago
    Quoted from Aurich:

Pins these days are a success with a few thousand sales (wish we knew real Stern numbers, I'm super curious) .

I too would really like to know Stern's sales numbers for each pin. Particularly, BM & GB. Too bad there's no way of ever finding those figures ... or is there? Anybody know?

    #334 6 years ago
    Quoted from Aurich:

I love current hip hop. Nothing wrong with listening to Slayer and Gucci Mane back to back in my book!

Back to back?! How about at the same time??

lol, I won't front, I played that a ton when it came out.

    #336 6 years ago

    Sonic Youth and..... Cypress Hill???
Not sure how this one slipped by me, but I'll just call it luck.

    #337 6 years ago

    That's a great album.
Besides Slayer and ice-t who have the best track, Biohazard & Onyx, Faith no More & Boo-Yaa Tribe and House of Pain & Helmet are classic too...

    #338 6 years ago

Actually I love Sonic Youth and Cypress Hill... it's just that collaboration never, ever, crossed my mind. Now my curiosity is peaked.
    Not gonna do it.
Wouldn't be prudent. At this juncture.

    #339 6 years ago

Look what this thread has turned into. You should be ashamed. I know I am. Clark please hurry the fuck up and delete ALL rap metal references in this thread.

    Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:

This is one of the funniest posts ever. Bravo sir.

I am not sure if you knew the reference, but I cannot take all the credit, that belongs to the late great Phil Hartman (doing Frank) and fittingly enough, Sting (as Billy Idol):

    #343 6 years ago

Damn I miss Phil. Was such a comedic genius. Irreplaceable.

I caught that one. Good throw-back reference Gryszzz.

    #345 6 years ago

You're just a thread derail enabler Mike.
Let's talk about our favorite SNL stars...
    here's one of mine...

    #346 6 years ago

Actually, I can translate that one: Make this world a better place.

...and wookin' paw nub = looking for love

Eddie had a lot of funny skits on SNL.

Do any comedians do impressions of Slayer band members?

    #347 6 years ago
    Quoted from Gryszzz:

Thanks but I'm not dead yet.
