New latches can be too tight and crinkle the decal. Le should stay true to the classic design and still come with lock down bar. The rest well latches are fine I suppose.
You do all realise it is a cost cutting venture from Stern, nothing more nothing less. It's cheaper that's why they did it not to be more practical or convenient for the owner.
