New Star Trek Stern Mod....Vengeance by Hooked on Pinball now shipping 1-13-14

I call it gobbler no more..... But it will officially be call Vengeance and Vengeance interactive.
So I unboxed my LE and the first thing I notice is the build quality... very happy. Second thing I noticed prior to turning on the machine was the flasher under the Vengeance is not hidden - picture one. So I have a simple mod to make it better and more complicated to show off the center piece that it is.+

The purpose of the basic mod: black out the area left void by the factory. The mod is dark enough so when the flasher is idle the area just looks black. When the flasher pluses the area under the ship is unaffected and the blacked out portion looks smokey. This balances out the blast flash burst and most of all shields the direct view of the flasher bulb making the ship look finished.

The purpose of the interactive: Adds light under the ship and a red tracer when the ship is hit or crashes (LE)

Simple version will be $18 shipped US - sorry no overseas.
Interactive I am shooting for $49.95 + shipping depending on how the lighting prices work out and will be shipped outside US.

Thought it was close enough where I can share now.

I think it is a mod to the large 89 LED under the ship; really need bigger pics or a vid to confirm.

I think Hooked, is putting a dark tinted plastic in the area that is open in the middle of the ship so you cannot see through it. You really can not see it very well in the picture.

I noticed that flasher as well. I even realigned it under the ship to make it less visible. I like the idea of the interactive version. I'll be interested to see the video when you have it ready to go.

As i was play-n the Bankers LE ,, I wondered why Stern didn't have that CoinTaker 89 Super Warm White covered ..

The Tint lOOks Good , Now a 89 Bright White would lOOk Better ..

I sure wondered why they went with a warm white LED flasher in an otherwise very cool white game.

Ok the custom laser cut lens are ready to ship and it comes with a new 89 cool white flex flasher. $18 shipped PP invoiced. This mod requires not permanent modification to the machine what so ever. It simply installs under the shell by removing 4 screws. This is a 2 min install and a bulb swap...that's it.

The picture above shows the reason for the mod. The interactive I am not 100% happy with yet so that will be a little bit.

I've got a red flasher in mine the and the effect is night and day compared to the previous white. The top part of the play field glows red when in vengeance mode . I also have replaced all GI to blue .

Yes, Red flasher looks way better than the Orange that came in mine. Interesting that they swapped that to white in others.

Yep this is similar to a point, theirs is a full platter. Honestly I saw it for the first time two days ago.

First shot at interactive I didnt like because it looked like a fat lip lol.
If you make the craft too thick it the scale is off....so still working on it.
