I bought a fully restored bally but with loose side rails. Thought easy job so bought a pair new siderails and good tape from MOP.

Added 24hours clamps 4 pair a side. But after 1 week both rails came loose again.
It seems the previous owner (restorer) he removed too much wood from middle cabinet...
So there is big gap 0,5 cm on both sides length +- 60cm in the middle; at the beginning and end its straight.

What to do now? The cab has new decals (perfectly placed) Should i try to use Tec7 or other brand strong transparant glue between the gap siderail/cabinet?

Ive seen this problem more often by restored cabinets but never found a topic...

Buy some Kwik-Wood and fill in the gap in the wood that's missing. If you make it level with the rest of the game, the siderail will cover it up and you'll be all set. 60cm is a lot? you may need to cut a piece of wood and fix it in there with kwikwood

Small piece of wood of 60cm length is maybe a good idea to put in between. Otherwise im scared the decalls comes off. Thnks for the tip.
