Thank goodness Ohio opened their bars & restaurants sooner than Michigan (first closure) allowing my wife and I to go to Toledo area restaurants dozens of times. As well as our November 15th closure that was recently lifted.

Agreed, I did not say non-existent. It appears that leadership in some states believe that the crisis is past the peak since openings of businesses and restricted events are happening or scheduled to happen in the near future.

I stopped by here to say that, because I have grave concerns about gatherings right now. I'll also say that I'm totally fine when you snap to downvote this. I also just learned that I will not be able to report this post to the moderators myself, so absolutely feel free to do that for me. I understand I'm breaking the rules just by coming in here and saying it. I'm totally fine with the thread eject it will earn me, and probably a little forced vacation from Pinside.
And to the unlucky moderator who gets the report for this post, sorry. But you should moderate me and thread eject me so everyone knows it's not ok to knowingly break the rules. I'll console myself knowing that if one person stays safer by lowering their risks, it's worth it.
Well, thanks to DaveH's post, I'm going to skip attending the show. Hotel cancelled. I'll go to a Tribal casino in Michigan as they have been declared safe by the respective tribes since November when they defied the orders to close back up. Plenty of Bally and WMS machines to play....
Sorry show promoters Keith, Marvin (and Mike?) that I won't be supporting the show with my admission dollars and vendor purchases. Hopefully DaveH is happy with this.
