Quoted from vid1900:

I've got a ton of RD boards in my games and they all work fine.

I have also had excellent results with all Rottendog boards.
Jim is an extremely nice guy and knows his boards inside out.
I hate seeing threads stating " rottendog board, now this doesn't work or other complaints"
In my opinion, I think some problems arise because people think slapping a new board fixes all issues.
If coils have locked on, they are usually shorted and if not changed they can damage any board, not just Jim's . If diodes are shorted, they can damage switch matrix chips. If connectors or ribbon cables are suspect or damaged, shits not going to work right.

I understand there has been some known issues with some rottendog boards and compatibility.
These issues are fairly well documented and in some cases jim has been working on resolving issues.
I do not work for jim, but I'm extremely grateful for his replacement boards and his efforts to save games.
I think more troubleshooting before swapping boards may help resolve some issues.
To the OP, I sincerely hope you get this fixed soon. If I can think of anything to help, I'll gladly offer assistance.

Im sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread. As I already said, I hope you find a solution to your problem. Personally, I have no idea why its popping fuses.
