This is a Brand new replacement WPC CPU that is currently set up with Star Trek Next Generation eprom. This board is brand new, and has just been assembled with all new components. The majority of the chips are installed into machine pin sockets, the ASICs is included and a Non-volatile Ram has been installed in place of using a battery. Dip switches have been installed in place of the country jumpers to ease setup of your board for different countries.

There are some other new WPC CPU's listed, but all the chips are not socketed, ASIC's are not included and they use a battery (which can leak acid and ruin the board). With this board, the chips are machine pin socketed where possible as they are rated for hundreds of insertions. This makes for very easy repairs if a chip should ever fail (No de-soldering or soldering required) and acid damage will never be an issue.

This board will ship with 6 Nylon screws to replace your existing star washer screws. It has been found that if over-torqueing the metal star washer screws that they may cut into the mask and ground the +5 volts. We are including the nylon screws to ensure that this does not cause any issue with your new board. This is a common practice for when there are any conflicts or close proximity to the other traces. The board will still be grounded correctly as the back of the board contacts the ground frame correctly.

This CPU has been fully burn in tested on a test bed and works 100%. This CPU can be used in any of the games in the list below.
