I'll take a look tonight and see if it's something I think I can knock out quickly. I know a lot of people (myself included) want to see how awesome it looks.

Taking one for the team huh, what a trooper good luck.

Off topic but since you have to take it off, any chance you can post a pic of that ball gate that's on the ramp? its missing on the machine I'm restoring and I have to make it.

Oh my. Can't buy a replacement?!

That's already looking awesome, that shuttles going to pop when it's backlit.

I was able to get the one that goes inside the shuttle but not that one
Thank you sooo much because that photo shows me exactly what I did wrong with the one I made and I should be able to make it work now.
The blue bulbs there are waaaaaay too much lol. Going to have to change my color scheme for sure.

No kidding. I liked the scheme with the black ramp but it's gonna get swapped out entirely, probably with just warm white GI all around.

I'll swap everything to warm white when I have some more free time. The blue looked good before, but now...oh my....no.[quoted image][quoted image]
I think it looks awesome, the lighting that was under there might have been a bit much for you now but this piece opens up so many lighting options and opportunities. On the flip side a guy won't be able to neglect the shooter lane on this machine any longer. Thanks for sharing.

You're right, it absolutely does open up lighting options. Now I get to figure out how to best take advantage of it lol. I love the ramp, looks great! Only negative for me is that now my entire color scheme has to be changed
How did I miss that there was a ramp/shuttle combo, at a discounted price on the website?! Dohhhhhh!!!!
Switched out for mostly warm white but kept the front two ramp lights blue. Changed lanes to red under the red covers. Cut power to the blue trough light. Much better. Oh, and swapped cool white for warm white in the backglass shuttle. I much prefer the way cool white looks but the reflection is HORRIBLE with them in. Slightly less horrible with warm white.

Haven’t made the switch to LEDs yet as with @ksuwildcatfan I’m deep on my HS Hardtop restore. Think I like the glow of incandescence though unless a dye/film option becomes available.

That's looking sweet.

Yes,the shuttle can be a wicked mistress but slapping that clear ramp on her, that'll teach her. I really like the way these are looking.

High speed and Space Shuttle. High five, 6 feet away, to you!
I swapped out the two blue lights under the ramp entrance to a couple of 1SMD ultraviolet lights I had. I think I like the less aggressive, toned down look. Also noticed I missed one of the bulbs under the ramp--whoops--and replaced the backglass lettering "SPACE SHUTTLE" and exhaust with amber bulbs. I think I'm done for now.. Maybe...

Any chance of getting two sets of TAF ramp flaps ?
thanks, Steve
Quoted from Apinjunkie:Is it possible to just get a set of the flaps and rivets for that shuttle ramp? Clear ramp is in my future but for now my ratty black will have to do but could sure use a set of those flaps.
Ordered a black space shuttle ramp.
I think the clear looks ok above, just not loving all the white under it.
I thank you guys for being the guinea pigs.

That was my fear also. It's not my favorite, but I love the way the ramp looks otherwise, so I'm very happy with it.

I love the clear part over top of the shooter lane. The original ramp hides a bit too much. Needless to say, I bought the black one and my buddy bought the clear one.
I'm just happy that I was able to buy a replacement. Thanks again Larry!

Both are great choices. Unsurprisingly, Larry knocked it out of the park. Really happy with how mine transformed with the new ramp and lighting.
The Space Shuttle ramps look great, Larry! Since we won’t be seeing you and your pup at Golden State Pinball Festival in Lodi (again) this year, I just ordered the Shuttle and ramp set from your website. Thanks for everything you do, hopefully we see you in Lodi 2021! Art (and Amanda)

I have to share this because I think it is toooo funny. Starship Fantasy has been asked to repurpose its production in support of the SAR-COV-9 virus. Who would have ever thought a pinball company would be called to the table. Costco and others in Phoenix have decided to put plastic barriers between their cashiers and customers. We were identified through the wholesalers as a company that probably has a large stash of plastic. So far it does not appear to affect our ramp production but it could if things get crazy.
You missed the bigger takeaway: a pinball company is "essential"!
I'm glad I got my clear SS ramp today then, too! Though in all seriousness, the current Covid crisis presents a much more important, pressing, and better use of clear stock toward public good.
I can't imagine they would keep those barriers forever once this is over. Hopefully at that point the barriers can be disinfected and recycled back into playfield goodies. Either way, should be a good way for you to stay in business regardless of what happens.

Gotta ask, what color options will be available?

Larry is going to offer them all his black ABS plastic.
Quoted from crujones4life:Regarding PZ ramps. Any chance they will be slightly tweaked to prevent ball from flying off?
just do the small piece of flipper rubber trick at the start of the ramp. its on one of the photos in the club. works wonderfully.

I actually have a piece of felt at the wireform exit that works pretty well. Was just curious about the new ramps.
So, I have 2 options here with Party Zone. Option 1, use the original tool from Williams and produce the ramps just like the original but thicker. Or option 2, redesign the entire ramp from scratch and make changes to try and hold the ball better. This will be quite expensive since there is no ramp to copy and there is no guarantee the changes will work. This could easily add $50 to $100 to the cost of the ramp and there are simple fixes for the problem without changing the ramp.
Hopefully, you agree that option 1 is the best choice.
This just keeps getting crazier. Not only is the company being called up for Covid 19 but I just got a letter from the Veterans Administration asking me to come out of retirement to provide care at the VA. Not gonna happen.

i hope all agree option 1 is best!
Was at Costco tonight. They have maybe 3 ft by 2ft clear thin sheets of plastic in front of each register.

I have been having a terrible time with my T2 ramp. After selling hundreds of them someone from Europe writes to me with pictures telling me the ramp doesn't fit. In fact, it doesn't fit and the repro ramp doesn't fit in my game either. Then I remember my game was a reimport from Germany. Since no one complained before, I'm wondering if there were 2 different versions of the game. One for overseas and one for the US. If you have installed my T2 ramp in your game and it fit, or you had to modify it to fit, let me know. I need to figure this out before I run more.

I say option 1. But if you go option 2 I have no choice. I can dye it myself, but what can we try as far as purple or red clear? Curious. Just excited to get some.
Larry are you out of clear SS ramps? I had someone comment about how they loved my machine (yessssssss, feed me those compliments!!!) and really wanted a clear ramp of his own. I told him how this all went down and to check inventory with you, but I'm not even sure he has a Pinside account tbh.
Yeah, he did message me and I pretty sure I have more but wanted to make sure I had them before answering.
