Tried to build a kit for Pinbot, but the game is not in your database?!?

*** Update - Titan got back to me via email. You have to type in "bot" for the game to come up in the database. ***

    Quoted from Titan_Pinball:

I messed up the CAD for these and had to start over with new molds. Everything looks good now, and as soon as my manufacturer gets back from vacation (a few weeks) we will begin production. Because of the new minimum ordering requirement we have, we will probably begin with the core colors (black, white, red, yellow, maybe blue) and expand on those as demand dictates.

Please include red and blue for us Space Shuttle owners who do not want to go with the stock yellow!

    #1399 3 years ago

I hadn't thought about Space Shuttle. I'll make sure to get blue.

    Thank you!

    Quoted from Titan_Pinball:

    The new samples have arrived
    7/8" post, "Stern" thin post, Tee-post, 3/4 post, and 2 3/4" ring.
I just need to figure out the proper hardness for the posts, and choose the first colors to bring in. I'll probably start with black, white, translucent, yellow, blue, and red.

Awesome - the countdown to doing my space shuttle begins!

Do you have an approximate eta for the 3/4 posts?

    #1635 3 years ago
    Quoted from Crash:

Finally the fatter 7/8" post typically used in yellow on Bally/Williams games!

The high color rendering index rating of incandescents really brings out the ring and post color on your game. Looks amazing! What's with the pinball on a stick?

Just noticed this question. I assume you are asking about the pinball on the side rail of my machine? It's a homemade magnet. I use grey epoxy paste to stIck a rare earth magnet onto an old ball. I have a couple of them. They are perfect for holding sheets/blankets on the game when not being played.

I intentionally overstretched a red ring on the shooter lane of my Pinbot. It "tinted" the ring somewhat milky white, especially at the posts. I expected this though, having stretched out as much as I did. Perhaps we ate just talking about overstretching? None of my other rings have any issues whatsoever. I took care to size them comfortably.

    Quoted from Titan_Pinball:

Just a quick update: The new sizes have landed in the US. It's now up to customs to decide when to release them.

OMG - you mean there is a chance I could do my Space Shuttle before PaGG!?! Hooray (fingers crossed)!

    #1668 3 years ago

When the new sizes come in will you be getting more red star posts as well or should I plan on ordering those elsewhere?

Adding Titan rings to my Pinbot! Love these silicone rings!
(my pictures uploaded out of order, but you get the idea.)

Nice but your tapered post rubber at the bottom of your right chest targets is upside down. Upside down tends to promote airballs.

    Quoted from henrydwh:

Hmm, I googled images of the pinbot play field when I did that just to make sure it was right. But I thought it would make more sense for it to go the other way! Thanks for the info I will correct it.

There are lots of upside down tapered posts out in the world. I did it myself the first time. Someone here pointed out out to me.
